Okay, here’s the thing. I was getting on a plane for the first time since February 2020 and flying out of Boston Logan at 7:54am (air travel is actually hypothetical, that plane didn’t actually get airborne until 9:45am…). I live in Vermont. Driving the 2.5 hrs to Logan isn’t bad. Parking at Logan IS bad. But! We have The Dartmouth Coach. Which, for $39, will deliver me, and my luggage, directly to my departure terminal. My problem was I’d have to get on the 3:25am Dartmouth Coach to make my flight and THAT seemed really terrible. So I decided to check out my Marriott app to see about staying at a hotel near the airport the night before.

I had the fish and chips and it was very tasty and the portion was large. The atmosphere was fun and there was a good crowd sitting at the bar all having a good time. Large TV’s also scattered around the restaurant/lounge area was a good touch. Only negative part was that it took 15 minutes to have my waitress come take my drink order and bring water, but in her defense she was running all around the restaurant and taking care of way too many tables for one person. Once the drink and food orders were in the service was very quick. I’d come back here for dinner next time I’m staying at this hotel!

It’s good in a pinch, when you’re staying at the Courtyard, but expect to be waiting for a bit. The food is good, it just seems to be a little chaotic.

While the decor is a bit tired and worn, and the menu quite limited, our food was excellent!. I had the chicken club. The chicken was tender and moist and the bacon perfectly crisp and flavorful. My partner had a burger which he pronounced really good, flavorful and moist even if it was a touch overcooked. Thd French Fries was really crisp and obvious right out of the fryer. Great service as well.

First time in Boston, only stayed 1 night. We were seated promptly. Our waitress attention to detail was on point as she noticed even before we did that we were sat at a “dirty” table. A quick wipe and our order was taken and came out in a timely manner. New to local favorites we tried the lobster roll. Not my cup of tea, but it was flavorful and I would recommend it to lobster lovers. 4 star for no other reason than the food. Good food, our palettes just weren’t feeling it.
