Not bad, but definitely overrated as far as taste of the food goes. We went on a busy morning as a group of 6 and got seated immediately, so that was a pleasant surprise. The staff were super friendly and it was a nice atmosphere, so I could see why people would love to make a tradition out of eating here. But yeah when it comes to paying a pretty high price for breakfast like this, I do have higher hopes for the actual eating experience.

Let me start by saying we have frequented Brigs numerous times, but yesterday’s experience was less than acceptable. I ordered the Blue-berry salad. It was described as having grilled chicken. When I took the first bite of the chicken it definitely was not plain grilled chicken, it had some type of spicy seasoning which I do not care for at all. When I questioned the waiter, Blake, he went to check and said it was a pre-seasoned piece of chicken with Mesquite seasoning, and they could not provide plain grilled chicken. ‘Mesquite’ was NOT listed on the menu. I put it aside and ate the rest of the salad. Mid meal he asked if everything was okay and I said ‘not really’. Then we informed him that the Beef Slillet, which was the January feature that my husband ordered seemed to be lacking the meat and the bacon. He replied that he didn’t notice. ‍♀️ He never refilled an iced tea. When he brought the check he said next time I could get turkey or ham in the salad, which would have been a deli variety.
When we went to check out I asked to speak to the manager who is the older woman with the white hair. From the beginning she was very defensive and said I was attacking her? Well, who am to complain to after the waiter didn’t have satisfactory answers. They ask if everything was okay, and I said no, it wasn’t. She said she doesn’t make the menu. Also said they could have provided diced chicken that they use in the omelettes, and I should have called her over to correct the situation. Again, how am I supposed to know that after I already brought it up to the waiter….he should have known the options. She had no comment about the skillet quality. In the end she did comp the bill by half, and I didn’t penalize the waiter. He isn’t responsible for how the menu is written or the quality of the food from the kitchen, but he could have provided better service.
On another note…and to be honest I did not go into the women’s rest room yesterday, but in recent visits the soap and paper towel dispensers need to be replaced. Sadly to say, this restaurant has definitely gone downhill.

X the first time I went I was seated right away the food was good and hot prices were good too. But one Sunday I tried to run in and grab a quick breakfast to go and the line was outside. So if you try this place don’t go on Sunday Morning if you are in a rush.

Nikki was an awesome server. The girl that broke her back was a really nice hostess. Praying for her quick recovery. The restaurant is clean and organized. Looks like the kind of place that can get real busy. Everything was as expected for me. I loved it. I’ll be back, maybe a regular now.

Location is constantly busy, but it’s not a long wait. The inside looks outdated, but it seems they are doing some changes. The employees are very nice.

Food is OK depending when you go. At best its IHOP, at worst its Waffle House. The issue i have is that the manager (an older lady with white hair) literally pushed my wife out of the way and said she was busy trying to get people inside. My wife was standing behind me in my wheelchair and we were waiting behind a crowd of people trying to check out, so I could get to the Inaccessible Bathroom. The fruit has some sort of chemical on it, first and last time I order fruit, I actually spit it on my plate which I do not do over bad taste…I just swallow and say ,no more please, but this tasted like chemical cleaner or bleach. It was substituted for home fries, they WERE NOT HOT. They were somewhat warm in the middle but most of it was cold, I let the gentleman know and he said he saw them take them right off the grill. I can only assume he didnt see the part where they obviously put old home fries on the grill to reheat them. That’s why he saw them come off the grill. Fresh home fries glisten from the oil, the oil had already soaked it in and tasted stale. My son ordered corn beef hash, it came out looking like it was straight out of a can and wasn’t even cooked, it looked like ALPO. They took half off each our meals, I could go on about the quality of the ommelette etc, but ill just wrap up with, everything was either bad or OK. This is my second time there this week. The first visit was better but still OK. No fiasco like today, but the grits were obviously instant, or just really poorly made. Grits should be creamy not watery. Anyways. We are done with Brigs, for the expense a Biscuit from bojangles is a better option for my family.

Excellent breakfast! I went in October and had the pumpkin pancakes, a seasonal treat! Wow! They were delicious and I highly recommend. I ordered hash browns and eggs on the side, which were also good. It’s an area favorite, which means we had a 20 minute wait- so plan accordingly. Just go- you won’t be disappointed.

I come here with my mom and grandma every time I come visit. They are always slammed. But they get through the wait quickly it’s typically a 20-45 minute wait. They have great seasonal rotations. I love their French toast, pancakes and the almondnutmuff is delicious. I keep wanting to try their autumn avocado toast it sounds great! The lady at the front who’s worked here for 30 years always remembers my grandma Betty and makes her feel warm and welcome. With my gma’s memory problems it’s very kind and sweet that she remembers her and keeps her in the loop. 1000000/10. Wonderful place

I really enjoy coming here for breakfast. The food is usually fantastic, with generous amounts and reasonable costs. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The personnel was incredibly pleasant. Our server served the meal quickly and the waiter kept our drinks flowing without us having to ask for refills. There is enough food for the price and it is definitely worth the wait for a table! This restaurant is fantastic, and I definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family.
