We stopped into Brienzo’s Pizza Bar after a long day of traveling, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we sat down, Clayton, our bartender, made us feel incredibly welcome, he’s the kind of positive, genuine person who makes you immediately glad you chose the right place.
We started with an Old Fashioned and a glass of wine, both of which were spot-on. For appetizers, we had the Blazen Hot Wings (amazing!) and then shared the Jalapeño Chipotle Chicken and the Bianca pizzas along with a bottle of Cabernet. Everything was absolutely perfect! Flavorful, fresh, and made with care.
As good as the food and drinks were, Clayton was the real star of the show. His attentiveness, great energy, and hospitality turned a simple dinner into a memorable evening. Brienzo’s is lucky to have him, and we’ll definitely be back.

We showed up at roughly 4:30 pm. The first 3 doors we tried were locked with only the carry out door being unlocked. No big deal. We were seated promptly. I got the old fashioned cocktail. $14 for 3 fingers worth of drink and I’m not even sure there was alcohol in the drink. My wife was very disappointed with her drink as well. We ordered our dinner, and it was just okay. It felt like a (not) cheap knockoff of Brienzos. I have been to the heights location a dozen times as least. This one is not at all worth the money. Do yourself a favor, avoid this location and go to the one in Peoria Heights. The one bright spot was our waitress. She was sweet and did a great job. Very disappointed overall. I’m really glad I had a gift card for this experience.

I’ll rate this place a 3 out 5 stars. We came in and the restaurant was pretty empty. We still had to wait a few minutes to get a table cleaned for a party of 5. We order some appetizers and didn’t have utensils and plates, we had to tell our waitress to bring some out. Not a fan of the wings but definitely like the panini sandwiches and the meatballs.

The pizza and cheesy garlic bread was SO GOOD! and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Everything was super tasty, love the new location! Our 14in pizza was pretty thin and light on toppings compared to a usual Brienzo’s pizza – seemed like the same amount of dough and toppings as a 10″ just stretched out over a 14″? Good otherwise!

Honestly disappointing. Good things first. Jaden was great and the atmosphere was really clean and nice. Firstly, we came at 4pm and three of the doors were not open. We got very half hearted apologies. We tried three before we could get in. The pizza felt very fake. Tasted nothing like the one in the heights. I’ll stick to the one on the heights. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this was just not a good time.

First time here. Passing through area and looking for cauliflower pizza. Salad was fresh and tasty. Pizza was different. I had a chipotle chicken and it was good. My husband had a cauliflower crust with garlic butter. He said his pizza was very dry and said the tea had an odd taste. Server was very attentive and prompt but never offered a refill of drink so wasn’t addressed. Kiddo wasn’t a fan but when we asked, she did get her gelato and enjoyed that.

Remember to read the receipt before you pay: there’s a 3% service charge applied to ALL transactions, not specifically to credit card purchases. “Optional fee” , but it’s up to you to opt out. I looked around the restaurant and the only place I could see this fee was on the receipt. Food we ordered was good, but way overpriced. For $16.75 you get a 10″ pizza, for $12.95 you get 3 meatballs and a breadstick. Pretty expensive for what you get. The 3% optional fee is a big turn off. Won’t be going back.

Went to the new location at Grand Prairie tonight so excited to try it. Was not very busy when we arrived and waitress said it would take 15 min to get pizza. We were trying to make a 7pm movie at Grand Prairie. We ordered around 6pm or maybe a little after. At 652pm still had no pizza. Waitress was no where around. No updates or anything. We finally flagged her down and asked how long and she said like 6-7min. We said we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave because we had to make movie. All of a sudden she shows up with pizza she said wouldn’t be ready in time and we told her we didn’t want it and wanted to pay for drinks/appetizer and leave. Also asked to speak to manager. Not only did manager never come but waitress never came back with our check and she knew we were on a time crunch. My sister had to go pay with a bartender. This was completely unacceptable and poor service. The waitress was very condescending with multiple excuses and abandoned our table. This was a very disheartening and disappointing experience. I would not return here to eat.

We were here with a group of 9. We all very much enjoyed. Claudia took great care of us.
We had various pizzas, breadsticks and wings. Everything was perfect.
Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.
