We just happened upon this gem! Shared tomato soup and an eggplant grinder. Both were delicious. Great cup of coffee as well. The assortment of Bridgewater chocolates makes your mouth water. Service was quick and attentive.

The Bistro is one of the best kept secrets! The food is always excellent, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I can honestly say I have not had a bad meal! The chef has amazed me multiple times, the waitstaff treats you like family and the small town vibe with the outdoor seating in the summer is the most relaxing……

Food was prepared well and delicious. Waitress couldn’t be nicer and efficient and did not hurry us. Less than half eaten breakfast was put into a to go container . Unacceptable cleanup. Beware that lack of person sitting at table even though a coat was there over the back of a chair did not faze the boy cleaning up that perhaps the customer was using the restroom prior to leaving and proceeded to throw out the food. The lame excuse from the cashier and another server that food gets left all the time was totally unacceptable with the coat on the chair. The offer to make another breakfast would have held us up and our waitress knew most of breakfast was in the container. What would have been the right thing to do would have been to credit the charge for their horrendous mistake. My family has been to this store many times in the past 20+ years. I have not and probably won’t ever come back.
Not sure how to order when we arrived so looked at menu on counter and tried to order, before the rather rude lady at counter stated we are a full service restaurant so find a seat and you will get served. She should have first asked what we were planning on eating in or takeout. Not a great first impression. The store itself has a lot to offer and presents a well thought out stock gifts and homemade desserts. It is worth a trip for that no doubt, just don’t leave your coat and to go food on the table and use the restroom prior to departure. Paying attention to the coat would have prevented this.

This place is really a hidden gem. The Monte Cristo I was told was the best he had ever had. The chicken and waffles are by most the best I have ever had, and nothing like homemade maple syrup to go on top. The grilled cheese, I was told, was out of this world with 5 different cheeses, tomato, and bacon. Don’t forget to grab some yummy treats on your way out. I know I did

Small town bistro. Good food, great service, especially in the summer sitting outside on the patio. Great Sunday brunch. Call ahead and make a reservation.

I usually enjoy the dishes I order here. But strange experience last night. We both ordered salads. I got a Caesar with shrimp and she got the beet salad with shrimp. They both come with a special dressing. But the bottom of the plates were coated I a balsamic glaze or sauce. I thought some accidentally got on my plate, but no, we both had it slathered under the salads. Couldn’t eat all of the lettuce that was drenched. If I order a Caesar salad I only want Caesar dressing. Very odd we both agreed.

We really like coming here when we go out for a ride. Food is great and reasonably priced. Just a nice place to stop. Only complaint I have is the service can be spotty so only four stars. Sometimes good other times horrible but never great. Still worth the ride and we’ll continue to stop it’s worth it.

First time here, got a breakfast sandwich, a coffee and some pastries. Sandwich was amazing, coffee had just the right amount of milk. The PB bar is amazing! I have to go back for a proper shutdown breakfast cause this place looks adorable! Lovely service, too!

It really doesn’t get any better than here. Quaint, cozy atmosphere; fantastic staff; very good food including knowledge and safety of food allergies; excellent management.

I have officially stopped coming here after yesterday’s interaction. Last times were just as bad and this just did me in. For one, there is no management. The staff seems to not know what their tasks are here. Everyone’s confused, bumping into one another, can’t answer customers questions on items ect; the pastries and baked goods in the case were so sad looking for Saturday brunch time with not to mention flies inside the case. 3 iced coffees and a small container of turkey chili all for 20$. I had to be rung up wrong!! I asked for some toppings for my chili and they were all out. How is that your soup of the Day and offer nothing to top off my incredibly bland over priced cup of chili!? I’m a chef so a lot was really bothering me. My iced coffee was a super long wait, simply because the staff were just all over the place. Oh yeah and no cream available for my incredibly over priced coffee!! The to-go cups are a joke. I feel like for the money I spent you can at least make your patron feel like they aren’t drinking out of a fast food cup. Another thing, there is no menu on the wall for to-go customers. I heard people asking staff what do they offer and what cost? Their answer was “you can look at our dine in menu” how insufficient is that for a customer. It seems like you are just wondering as a patron what you can order. This is just another establishment owned by a millionaire with zero idea how to run a successful resturant. it’s sad because they’re really screwing up an excellent business opportunity for the local community. And believe me, this is a small community and this isn’t the first time I’ve heard many complaints about this establishment.
