My husband and I had dinner here with our son to celebrate his 1st birthday and we had a fabulous experience. Our server, Jeff, was top-notch, so friendly and informative, as well as genuine and personable.

We came here for my husbands 30th birthday because we were staying in The Read House. The service was incredible. Our waiter was seriously THE BEST. Loved him. He absolutely deserves a raise. Made the experience even better. I ordered the bridgeman burger, my husband got a ribeye steak. We shared the truffle mac and creme brulee. The food was very good initially. But the morning after we ate there I got very very sick. I ended up with food poisoning the next few days and it completely ruined my husbands birthday trip. Not something you want to experience after spending $150 before tip on dinner. I would be cautious going to eat here.

Went here expecting the most mouth watering tender steak but it definitely wasn’t and now I know why none of the locals I asked about this place acted like they didn’t even know about it or said there was other places that where better. My husband had the hand cut ribeye and I ordered the bone in ribeye with scallop. My husband was very tough and mine was ok. The mashed potatoes tastes like they was instant, scallop had the burnt taate like you would get from burning the butter/oil and it setting cooking in it, Mac and cheese would of been delicious if it wasn’t loaded with so much garlic. My husband said the salad was the best thing he had there to eat and I think the mushrooms where for me. I guess you get what you pay for. Lol but really if your thinking about this place I would suggest trying somewhere else. Ask the locals. I would of told the waitress about it but my husband told me you don’t do that in a fancy restaurant

I’ve been to Bridgeman’s on several occasions: birthday, anniversary, work dinner, and every time I have been blown away by the service and food here. I’ve gotten several steak cuts, seasonal seafood and a duck special as an entree and have been very impressed every time. The wait staff are very professional and guide you to a great cocktail or appetizer choice. Might be the best service in Chattanooga. The whiskey selection is great. Severely underrated steakhouse/fine dining establishment in Chattanooga. I wish the chef knew this! I tell anyone who asks that this is the place to go over other fine dining restaurants downtown. Prices are what you expect but I’ve never felt like I overpaid because it is so good. Please go! It will be worth it.

The environment was quite, cozy and upscale. Very friendly staff. We ordered the prime bone in ribeye and filet. It comes with table sides and I would would have thought it would have a provided more choice of sides. Small choice of sides. The food was good but not over impressive. Definitely worthy of the experience but not a second time.

The food selection was good. The actually food we ordered was incredible. I had a cheeseburger and fries with Parmesan garlic cheese on them. They melted in my mouth. My wife had chicken fingers and they where just as tasty. The drink I got was very good. Perfect amount of alcohol and juice mixed. The woman who brought us our food was super friendly. She forgot a condiment so I called down asking for it. The gentleman who answered said she was busy and wasn’t sure when she’d be able to bring it back up. She was back at our door in 10 mins. She was great. Thank you for your excellent service with a smile.

I’ve been a Google guide for years now, and until last nite, I’ve never even thought of needing a higher ranking for anything or anyone. The dinner started with an explanation of various specialty meats and other options offered by the chef. This was presented by the most congenial and informative server in the world, Eugene. Eugene made the meal even more of a delight, his attentiveness, and knowledge of the food he served, made his suggestions spot on! We had the ribeye for 2, and it was out of this world good. We will return, that much is for certain. I know many people, including me, typically post pictures of dishes, so that others can see how delicious they were, but in this case, the before picture could not begin to show how delicious it is, so after asking for more bread because I could imagine leaving one drop of lobster bisque in my bowl, I took a picture of what was left of the best lobster bisque I’ve ever tasted.

Ordered the 11oz filet medium and my husband ordered the ribeye also medium. We also had 2 sides. My steak was over cooked and dry. My husband enjoyed his steak you can see it was nicly cooked and not dry. Brussel sprouts were roasted to long, mashed potatoes were ok. Lobster bisque was amazing husband loved the Ceasar salad. Definitely don’t feel it was worth 220.00 spent.

Wow is the best word to describe this restaurant. My husband is from Oklahoma and loves a great steak and since he has moved to Tampa he hasn’t been very happy with his choices. We have gone to several restaurants in Tampa and many places we have visited trying to find the perfect steak and he has always been a little disappointed.
