Despite having a reservation we had to wait about 15/20 minutes and were slightly bummed to be seated in a very lively bar (aka hard to hear) booth for my birthday dinner. The signed card was a nice gesture but honestly a mini dessert or glass of bubbly would have been nicer from this caliber of a restaurant.
The lobster bisque was delicious- not too heavy, chunks of meat and a depth of flavor. I am glad I didn’t share!
I went with the Chicken Milanese. I was very impressed with the thinness and crispiness of the chicken, the sauce was just right with tang from lemon and brine from capers and the fettuccini was obviously hand made. Yum, yum!
The cookie skillet dessert my friend ordered was fine, standard. I would go for something else next time. The Paloma was very good- not overly sweet like it should be.
Service wasn’t the best. After waiting for a table when we said we needed 3-5 minutes more to look over menu, she was gone 10-15 at least. Maybe she had tables in the dining room and was hard to balance.
Want to feel refined? Order the Ahi Tuna Tartare. Feeling like you just finished a long day on the ranch you don’t actually own? Pivot to a hearty slab of prime rib. This menu has more range than a pop diva.
The atmosphere is a strategic masterpiece of high-backed booths, creating perfect little pockets of privacy. It’s the ideal setting for a discreet business deal, a juicy gossip session, or simply enjoying your meal without having to acknowledge the couple next to you arguing about how to load a dishwasher.
The food itself was great, and the service was sharp and intuitive—the kind of seamless experience where your water glass magically refills itself. BrickTop’s is a confidently versatile spot that manages to be both a crowd-pleaser and genuinely good. It’s a solid choice when you want a quality meal without having to solve the puzzle of what everyone is in the mood for.
It offered an upscale, quiet and spacious place for us to be able to talk as well as watch other game from our table while dining.
The service was the best as they were fast, friendly and accommodating of our every need.
We tried the Brussel Sprouts, Deviled eggs with Brown Sugar bacon. Also had the grilled chicken. Every dish was flavorful and seasoned to perfection.
Shout out to our server who actually got the kitchen to do the Brussel Sprouts because they are not on the brunch menu. Perhaps they’ll consider adding them.
The price was reasonable considering the restaurant being located in South Park.
The overall impression of the venue was that it is a perfect place for meetings you might do during a meal. The tables give you space if you have a laptop.
The restaurant is easily accessible for anyone. They have a free parking lot. But that lot may be hard to find a space during peak hours. The parking lot is free.
This is also a great place for families and even a date night as it is upscale and classy. The menu as well as the space makes it easy for families that may have children included In the group.
They also have a full service bar with TVs which is where we sat near.
Appetizers – 10/10
The tuna, calamari, and spinach & artichoke dip were all outstanding. Great flavor and presentation across the board.
Service – 10/10
The service was excellent from start to finish—attentive, friendly, and professional.
Entrees
Trout – 10/10
Meatloaf – 10/10
Burger – 10/10
Tuna – 7/10 (The vegetables were extremely salty and unfortunately inedible.)
Ribs – 7/10 (The ribs themselves lacked seasoning, and the BBQ sauce was very bland. It was missing that tangy vinegar kick. I’m not sure if it was house-made, but it definitely needed more flavor.)
Crab Cakes – 7/10 (Also quite bland and could have used more seasoning.)
Side Vegetables – 1/10
Unfortunately, they were inedible due to excessive salt.
Desserts – 10/10
Desserts were excellent and ended the meal on a high note.
Overall, while there were a few seasoning issues with some entrees and sides, the appetizers, service, and desserts were fantastic.
