I wanted to share an honest experience from our recent visit.
First, I was disappointed to see a promotion offering free chips and salsa in exchange for a 5-star Google review. Incentivizing only positive reviews feels against the spirit (and rules) of fair online reviews. Feedback should be authentic — not rewarded only if it’s five stars.
As for the food, it was decent overall but inconsistent. We ordered cheeseburgers and a pizza. The pizza came out burnt on the bottom. One cheeseburger that was ordered rare came out well done, while the other two burgers were cooked properly and tasted good. They do offer homemade chips and fries, which was a nice touch.
Service wasn’t very quick, and overall it just didn’t feel particularly attentive or polished.
Not a terrible experience, but definitely room for improvement — especially when it comes to review practices and consistency in the kitchen.

The atmosphere was charming and laid-back, perfect for a casual meal. The fresh-cut fries were decent, though I’ve had better elsewhere. As for the steak, it was a bit too salty for my taste, and the seasoning didn’t quite hit the mark. At $28, I was expecting a higher-quality cut. Overall, it’s a nice place, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to the food.

Spend the night in Clarksburg for halfway point traveling purposes and decided to give Brickside Bar and Grille a try for dinner.
Bar looked fun on first glance, lots of bikes outside, and a very local feel. We tend to frequent local businesses as much as practical.
The crowd wasn’t overly welcoming. the staff wasn’t at all friendly. It was awkward even figuring out if we could walk through with a dog or where we should sit, and once seated, our greeting and service was incredibly mediocre.
We usually find a spot to spend a few hours, have drinks, and enjoy our evening a bit more, but the atmosphere here didn’t invite that. Very what’s your order, and in and out. It wasn’t all that busy.
We ordered a bunch of different meals and the food all was really good. Prices were reasonable, and the deck was shaded and comfortable to eat on.
It served its purpose and was satisfied with the food. We would consider trying again, but just as easily could consider another option in the area.

Great food, strong drinks, and my kids love going here. It’s a friendly bar environment with sports screens in the background and great lively bartenders. The outside patio is covered in the winter with the heaters blasting. Burger was good, chips were freshly fried, and the nachos were piled high.
With the great atmosphere and food, this place is a great go to.

It has a welcome feeling! The owner and staff are friendly. The customers give the feeling of regulars who also welcome everyone. I ordered the flamethrower. It was amazing! The size of the burger was impressive, the toasted bun, and the flavors!!! We definitely will return regularly!!¡

My fiance and I came here to get a light supper on date night. Without having to sit at the bar there was more private seating in the back sort of behind the bar. Waitresses were really very nice. Steak and chicken bowls were excellent. Mixed drinks weren’t bad.

Atmosphere- 4 stars- Indoor and outdoor seating. Place is clean and looks like they may have live music from time to time- stage in the outside area.
Service- 3 stars- Restaurant was moderately busy but they were obviously understaffed. Food took quite awhile to get out. I don’t blame our waitress because she was doing her best and was friendly and as attentive as time would allow.
Food- 3 stars- I ordered the soup of the day which was cheese and broccoli but it tasted liked they dropped a salt shaker in it. Waitress was nice enough and did not charge me for it. I also got the chicken bowl which was good. We also got a chicken quesadilla which was very skimpy when it came to the ingredients- it was more tortilla than anything else. I uploaded a pic. I’m sure this was just an off day and I will come back.

Excellent service, plenty of staff and seems like a great place to drink! Food is what I expected for bar food. I ordered the New York strip, medium rare, they sent out a tough, grissled piece of shoulder… Like I said, it was expected and delivered. Was hoping for a pleasant surprise. The salad was probably the best thing I had. I would not come back to eat, but would hang out there to drink.

Took quite a while to get someone to take our order. Took even longer to get our drinks. Ordered turkey Club and got a BLT. Food was good though, fries were real good. Busy night that night, maybe part of the reason we had to wait so long….. not sure.
