We ordered samosa chaat, garlic Naan, goat biryani, and moilee curry with chicken.
The biryani was one of the best I’ve EVER had. The goat was so flavorful and tender. We’d come back specifically for it!
The samosa chaat was a little too sweet for my personal liking (I’ve had it many other places before) but my husband loved it.
The garlic naan was not good. The texture was soft, but it was lacking in flavor big time.
The curry was ok. Definitely on the sweeter coconut-y side, which wasn’t my favorite. If we go back, I’d get a more hearty curry.
Service was great. Limited seating.

Visited today to try their weekend special thali – I ordered the vegetarian thali. The portion size is great (felt it to be a little heavier than thalis at other places), taste is delicious and the price point is also good. I recently visited Brick Lane in Montclair with my husband and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing — from crispy cauliflower, rava fish, and chicken 65 to the crunchy and tangy dahi puri, everything was so delicious. The weekend thali was the highlight, with veg and non-veg options and a variety of dishes that change every week. We also tried the Moilee fish, Parsi pulao, butter chicken, and lamb shanks — all perfectly cooked. Special thanks to chef Sanouar, whose skill and passion made every dish extra special. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great food!

This is our favorite Indian place in Montclair. The food is fantastic and the service was great. The recommendations of the staff were on point. Vibe is very classy. When is gets busy, you may have to wait a bit, but it’s worth it.

Ordered Goan curry with chicken and naan. Food was very tasty and good size portion. Had to wait longer than promised. My bill was over $40 which is too much for such order. They charge $7 for some naan and put an unheard “ Online Platform Fee” on the bill as well. Will try other places next time.

Had a fantastic lunch here this past weekend- ordered goat cheese vada, chicken tikka masala bowl, and the vegetable thali. Everything was delicious. Not a lot of places in Jersey offer thali options, happy Bricklane does! Looking forward to coming back.

So great to have Brick Lane Curry back!! The food was nominal 🙂 Great, cozy atmosphere. The service was very attentive even though we were the only ones in there they kept our water glasses filled and our bellies full! Highly suggest the cauliflower appetizer and the sagg paneer. Oh don’t forget the amazing garlic naan!!!!

We opted for Thali. It was great food. The ambience was really nice and cozy. Service was amazing. Usually I don’t see this good service at Indian restaurants. Hafsa our server was warm and patient. Explained all the delicacies on our thali. Overall it’s 5 star experience . Would visit again.
