Lovely atmosphere with just the right music and lighting. Easy to park. There is indoor and outdoor seating- I dined inside as it was a bit chilly. One sides of the restaurant is a coffee house style area, other side is full dining and bar.
Had a nice cocktail called Djinn and Juice. My dinner was saffron chicken with spinach rice. Chicken was moist and flavorful, the rice, which I think is an Afghan style, was fantastic. Nice waiter knew his stuff.

I’ve been here 4-5 times and the food is good every time. Recently we had one of the afghan dishes (usually get the sliders) and it was delicious (very tender meat, flavorful sides). I also love the bar atmosphere. It’s a well designed space.
The service is always a bit slow/off. I think they’ve had some younger staff that still need training. It’s not bad service, the staff could just operate a bit quicker.

We enjoyed our visit to Brickland for brunch. They had a nice selection of dishes and drinks. Our party tried a little bit of everything and thought it was good. We recommend the chicken and waffles and the Caesar salad.

Delicious, but the servings are tiny for the price! I had the Kubali Pulow for lunch and enjoyed it. The beef was very tender and flavorful, the rice was sweet with the raisins and complemented the beef and the cauliflower perfectly. The restaurant is also just beautiful and elegantly decorated. Again, I do wish the serving sizes were a bit larger, but overall I had a good time.

As we ventured out on a terribly hot day we stumbled upon this wonderful place. The food was served very quickly. We ended up ordering several different plates from the starter selection. The fish tacos were phenomenal. The pickled onions and strawberries were a great combination. The sliders with both beef and chicken were amazing. The fries with the “upgrade” of dill, onion, and feta were absolutely delicious. That taziki was great. Nice hints of mint….. and the sauce for the meatballs was absolutely delicious. The Big Wig Brown beer was a great beer full of great flavors. We would definitely go back for the “date night” combo which seems like an amazing deal.

I love the food! But more than that…
Brickland has a deep and refreshingly versatile menu. Ranging from Afghan classics like Pakora and Mantu to chicken and beef sliders.
I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to pork chops and I absolutely loved their double cut pork chop. The flavor was amazing and it was cooked to perfection.
The bar has a lot of options too. The bartender was kind and knowledgeable. I recommend the Brickland Spritzer and Pomegranate 75.

Had been curious about this lovely building for awhile. Finally went for dinner and was more than pleased. What a gem! Dominic was the kindest, most relaxed waiter and definitely added to the experience. It felt like being in a friend’s home for a special evening. I had my first New York steak here and cannot wait for another. The whole dish was scrumptious and perfectly prepared. We dipped into some pork meatballs and an ahi appetizer. And threw desserts as well. Beautiful inside and all around the perfect place for an intimate evening.

Our server was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, beautifully decorated. The meal started off great. The French onion soup was reminiscent of the same soup we had in Paris last year- truly amazing! My boyfriend ordered rigatoni and I ordered the fish tacos. Our meal did its job- we were hungry and the food filled us up. We ended our experience with dessert- hazelnut creme brûlée and peanut butter chocolate cake. We were both disappointed with the dessert. The cake was dry. The creme brûlée was covered in fruit and whipped cream. It would have been better if it was presented with the fruit and the whipped cream on the side so as not to take away from the beauty of the dessert itself. Overall the best part of our experience was the soup.

Brickland is a hidden gem serving unique dishes with a European flair. The interior is beautiful and the service is great. We’ve been here several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food has always been top notch. Chef Karel who hails from Europe is always spinning newer and creative dishes at reasonable prices. Go visit this place and you won’t be disappointed.
