Brickhouse Tavern delivers exactly what you want from a neighborhood smokehouse: big portions, bold flavors, and a lively, casual atmosphere.
Everything was great: the cheese fries, the burger, and the rest of the BBQ. Plus they have a great beer menu. Definitely a great spot.

We received our to go order and our wings were completely bare, and definitely a day old. My pasta was mushy and sticky. We’ve been going to brickhouse for years and have never had this bad of an experience.

My server Drew was excellent. Recommended a few local Dark beers. He knew the menu and advised me of future specials during my stay. I returned and had the Brickhouse Special Pizza. Very good as well.

Good service and very good food overall. The pizza was especially impressive—well prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients.

it was a very nice environment, but the extreme meat pizza was pretty average in my opinion. i enjoyed the burger and tater tots a lot, along with the spinach + artichoke dip as an appetizer. honestly all of the appetizers looked like bangers . the seating options were nice. a decent spot to eat if you’re on davidson campus.

I loved this place…but many items on the menu went up by $5…chicken parm from $18 to $23…pizza up as welll…but it’s not just that…the quality of the food went down! The pasta in the chicken parm changed, and something else (cheese, pasta, chicken?) now seems different. I literally just threw a $23 meal in the trash. If prices increase, food quality should not decrease. I still love the place and the TVs, but add me to the list of reviews of people disliking the food changes. Two suggestions from a business owner: 1.) Don’t do increases of 30% plus on food. It’s too noticeable if your food isn’t at least kept at par. 2.) Don’t make so many changes at once. Test them out. See what people say. Whoever made these decisions should probably seek some business classes up the street at Davidson. Cutting corners to save costs could actual cost you a lot of business.

Caroline was our server and she did a wonderful job. Caroline was personable, knowledgeable about the menu and kind. We traveled from Ohio to a wedding in NC. We are thankful we were able to enjoy Brickhouse Tavern!

We haven’t been to Brickhouse in a long while. Was excited to come and get some good food. We were very disappointed with the new menu changes. Tenders were tough and mainly all breading. Buffalo sauce has changed and is not good. Pretzel bites… we got 7 tiny pieces of them… the accompanying beer cheese was flavorless. No more spicy mustard like we wanted. No melted cheese on top like before. They were hard and cold like they were sitting out all day. The presentation of it was very blah and didn’t and wasn’t appetizing. $16 for mozzarella sticks is outrageous… especially when they, too, were cold and had awful cheese inside. Chili was decent. Husband’s ahi tuna was ok but the Brussel sprouts it came with were flavorless, he had to cover them in salt and no one wants to do that. Mom in laws salmon was dry and cold. They wouldn’t allow her to have broccoli with it. All in all we were all very disappointed. Not sure we’ll be back any time soon since everything has changed so drastically and for the worst it seems.

It has been quite a while since I’ve stopped in for a meal at Brickhouse Tavern so it was good to see the quality is still there!
We were seated in the tap room area and had great service today. Portions are generous and satisfying for the price.
GPS to the location can be a little wonky given one way streets and figuring out where to park, but still worth it ❤️

Stopped in for lunch. My grandson got condos bite that he really liked. My wife got the 14 wings from the appetizer menu. Great deal for $14. Sorry I ate one of the wings before I took the picture. Very meaty and tasty. I got the NC flounder with wild rice. Very good. Also enjoyed the house Amber beer. Another great deal. We enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress Shanya was great friendly and attentive even during the lunch rush. I also thought the bar was very cool. Solid affordable and nice atmosphere.
