This place was great! I stopped by for a pizza with my gf and man was I not disappointed. The stuffed crust with garlic is the only way to go. The Pizza is cheesy, flavorful and crispy crust all throughout. It’s Just everything you need from a great pizza. It can get busy on weekends dining in but service is great everyone’s so attentive. I don’t drink alcohol but my gf did and said they make nice drinks. Also you gotta try the bacon cheese fries here you won’t be able to stop eating them.

Bar/pub atmosphere with an expansive menu! Our family of 7 was seated immediately and provided menus. The waitress was helpful and addressed all questions/ requests seamlessly. The BBQ chicken pizza was good but even better the next day! We also ordered Greek pizza slices, onion rings, Alfredo and bacon/ranch fries and didn’t recall hearing one complaint.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Dog friendly heated outdoor patio area. They brought water for our dogs. We had boneless wings and fried calamari. Both were very delicious, fresh and hot. Service was very fast. We will definitely be back.

If you are a tavern person, this might be a great place to go. Avoid if you have small kids or babies. The inside is small and LOUD! The outside sitting area is a little quieter; however, the heating is inadequate especially since several of the fabric windows were ripped open and not repaired. Service was slow and we were treated as an inconvenience. We had to chase down a server for menus. The sandwiches were good. The pizza was fair. The pizza is definitely made with lower quality cheese as seen the amount of grease on a pizza with only cheese and chicken. Vegetables are not fresh, they are frozen. If you like good tavern sandwiches and the tavern environment this is a great place. If you prefer higher quality pizzas and a more relaxing atmosphere, you will want to look elsewhere.

Great atmosphere with great food! The pizza is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The menu options are very extensive, allowing anybody to find something they like. Brickhouse has a great small bar/restaurant vibe that makes everybody feel welcomed. The service and kitchen is always fast. I highly recommend Brickhouse and will continue to visit for years to come!

Really wanted to love this place and support a small business… however I ordered my bacon cheese burger plain and when it got to the table it had everything on it. Not an issue I sent it back I understand mistakes sometimes happen, got my new burger to go and when I opened it all the toppings were there again. They finally gave us a plain burger but this time there was no bacon!!!! The burger was comped but WTH

The pizza is 11/10! I would definitely recommend Brickhouse Taverns food any day, but beware the atmosphere is like any other bar. If you’re a woman alone I’d suggest take out- but I did feel safe inside.

went to Brick House Tavern in Newport News today after a coworker told me their pizza and wings were really good and she wasn’t lying! I got a pepperoni and ground beef pizza, and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The teriyaki wings were super tasty too.

Our server, Tyler, was awesome…. really friendly, professional, and helpful. I had my two kids with me, and he made sure we were taken care of. He even helped box up our food to go.

Everything was great from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back!
