We had a celebration of life at The Brickhouse and everything was perfect! Versel did a great job helping us plan the menu and anything else we needed for about 25 people. Linda was our server and ran our day smoothly without any problems! The food was delicious and everyone raved about it! I would highly recommend The Brickhouse if you ever need a party room or just want to go for a great meal!

If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience, I would not recommend the Brickyard Restaurant in Eastham. Our family chose it because of the gluten-free friendly menu, but unfortunately nothing about the execution, service, or food matched the expectations set by the menu or the prices.

Our party of seven (five adults and two children) was seated promptly for our reservation, and we placed drink orders and two appetizers shortly after. We were told bread would be brought to the table and that the kitchen was running slightly behind. Two clam chowders arrived first—lukewarm—which, in hindsight, was a sign of what was to come.

We asked if the children’s meals (chicken fingers and grilled cheese) could come out earlier. By that point, we still hadn’t received our appetizers, which we had ordered 30 minutes prior. The kids’ meals eventually arrived, followed by our appetizers about 45 minutes after ordering. The coconut shrimp was bland with a chutney that tasted more like plain orange marmalade, and the calamari was tough and overly breaded.

It took roughly an hour and a half for our entrées to arrive. The dining room was only half full, so the delay was difficult to understand. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t justify the wait: the seafood paella lacked flavor, the scallops were just okay, and the green beans served with them were overcooked and tasteless. For the price point, the value simply wasn’t there.

The best part of the meal was the water — and that’s not meant as a joke. I genuinely hope the restaurant can improve, but based on our experience, I would go elsewhere.

Our party was 4. Arrived 6p. Seated right away.
Friendly attentive service.
Large open dinng room w/a bar in the center. Room capacity not full. Hard surfaces…sound was a bit boomy. Loud but you could still have a conversation.
Good wine/cocktail selection.
Shared stater – calamari rhode island style fresh and tender. Pork chili had rich flavors. Comped warm bread basket w/softened butter
All meals were nicely perpared – roasted chicken, risotto special w/pan seared fish, fish and chips, wedge salad w/shrimp.
Shared desserts – fruit crisp was a warm hug of crispy topping and fruit medley topped with vanilla ice cream. And a flourless chocolate cake – very dense intense chocolate, smooth and satisfying.
Thumbs up Visit here w/family and friends!

Great place, loved everything about it. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive without making you ever feel rushed or impatient. Tables and chairs are attractive and comfortable, spaced apart nicely for privacy without feeling isolated. The menu has great variety and we loved the chicken marsala, the steak tips, both of which came with soup or salad in a nicely priced early bird special. The potato balls appetizer was very tasty, 8 large crispy treats. And the cocktails were inventive, pretty and super tasty. Lastly, the live music was enjoyable yet not so loud as to inhibit our dinner conversation. We will happily go back now that we know this place, even if next time we end up staying several towns away, this will be worth driving over!

We decided on the Brickhouse because of the extensive menu. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the hostess, who offered us a choice of tables or booths to dine at. The restaurant has an open arrangement but the tables were nicely spaced – not too close together but still providing a comfortable separation. My wife and I wear hearing aids and the ambient noise level was low, even with the open arrangement. This is a BIG plus for us and seniors in the same situation. I had the Jerk Salmon – it was wonderful. The mango-avocado salsa paired great with the salmon, which was tender and moist. The cocoanut rice was flavorful with just the right amount of stickiness, and the vegetables were not over done. It was a great meal. My wife had the orange rum scallops. Again, it was all flavorful and done to perfection. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding meal preparation, and even suggested which beers I might like. She was very attentive but not overly so. She inquired about our meals, removed used plates promptly without being asked and was very efficient. The meal left us full but not stuffed. It was a great evening. I HIGHLY recommend dining at the Brickhouse.

The grilled jerk chicken breast dinner is where it’s at here.
Paired with its oh so good mango salsa topping and coconut rice. My mouth is still watering, thinking about that tender chicken marinated with that spicy deliciousness that I just ate. I wish I had this recipe being a chicken fanatic. It’s so good that I’d be making this on a regular if I knew how. Haha! 🙂
The presentation of this meal is undeniably beautiful too. The colours of the fruit and veg combo just pop right off the plate. It’s nice eye candy for those who love taking pictures of their food. And let’s face it, I know that so many of us do when it looks this esthetically pleasing. You’ll see what I mean from my picture, it’ll sure make you hungry. And the nice thing here is the portions are very generous to justify the price, so much that I was too full for dessert.

Found on the fly and so happy. Calamari and wings for apps were fantastic. For main, the fried scallops were possibly the best i have ever had. Fish tacos amazing, and a fun take on a wedge salad by adding steak tips. Wonderful lunch.

Our main courses were very good, but I’m taking off a star for desserts. The key lime pie was partially frozen and the bread pudding did not have much flavor. Service was attentive and friendly. I had the braised short ribs and they were delicious!
