Honestly, my steak was overcooked initially. However, after speaking with my server, they responded promptly and with great enthusiasm. Even the manager came to check on me. The food was okay, but the 16-ounce steak was a bit too much for my taste. On the positive side, our server was very knowledgeable about wines and Oregon itself. If you’re a skier like me who’s visiting Oregon, I highly recommend this steakhouse for a fine dining experience.

Holy smokes! This place is a real gem tucked away on a side street. Our server, Nathanal, is full of charisma and his attention to detail made for a memorable anniversary experience. The steak was perfect and the prawns were superb. HIGHLY recommend it. The host was also very focused on top notch service! My wife got the onion soup, and I got a taste, was absolutely delicious! Top marks across the board!!!

After driving for 7+ hours after dropping off our daughter at college, we were searching for a good steakhouse. After reviewing a few, we stopped by another establishment that we called earlier and was told we would likely be seated within a few minutes. We arrived and were told that the wait was 45 minutes So, we then went to the Brickhouse and were immediately impressed. We received a warm welcome from both the hostess and Stewart, the manager. We were seated without the wait, given cold water and the menus. We had the most amazing server. Ali gave great suggestions that we followed.
The meal was just perfect. We had steak tartare and the crab and shrimp cakes for appetizers. We had the specials for the night: the Wagyu steak and the Rack of lamb. We paired the meal with a local wine from the Patricia Green Cellar—a great recommendation from Ali
We finished the meal with the Marion Berry Cobbler a la mode and two decaf coffees
Overall, just a great experience for this empty nester.
Will definitely be back!

Beautiful, dark-lit, and of course, lots of brick. I was lucky enough to have dinner here recently, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Menu items we had: blackened ribeye steak, seafood pasta, Brie appetizer, cheesecake, and a lovely bottle of Stag’s Leap Cabernet. Wish I would’ve got more/better photos, but I’d definitely recommend the place.

Would highly recommend. The food was so good. My wife and I loved the happy hour 3 course meals. The service was excellent. Atmosphere was very nice. We accidentally left our leftovers behind and our waitress literally ran down the block and brought them to us. First class. Five star.

I entered the doors in a full sprint, escaping a ridiculous gusting sleet blast rolling down the street. I was glad to be greeted warmly before heading to the bar. I took a moment to study the vintage photo of the original firehouse that now serves as the brick bones of the restaurant. They even kept the fire pole above the bar. I found myself wishing other areas of the restaurant had been designed or decorated more intentionally. It wants to be a high class spot, but something about the interior design feels underwhelming.
I enjoyed the drinks I tried although the menu seems a bit unimaginative. The energy was strange, maybe it was that night, but bar staff seemed to be a bit “altered” and on edge. One was wearing what may or may not have been an intentional cologne that smelled like the overpowering essence of hot rubber mixed with cigar smoke, and leather.
I ended up ordering the fresh steelhead and it was amazing. Caesar salad was lovely. And the drink of the night was called something like a White Christmas but was sort of a wintery margarita.
Awesome night in the end. But I prefer the Redmond location.

Food was amazing and the service great. When we first got there, there was a large group with 6 really young kids for a bday…we were worried it was going to be not so fun with the noise. The server (Jonathan) came over pretty quickly and acknowledged the noise and let us know the group was wrapping up. He was amazing…attentative just enough without being overbearing. Once the noisy table left they moved us to a table right next to the fireplace. The drinks came quickly and well made. My wife had the filet and I had the American Wagyu NY strip. Both cooked exactly how we ordered them. Baked potato amd veggies were also great. The manager came by to check on everything which was a nice little touch. There were so many other great looking options on the menu but we’re from out of town so not sure when we’ll have a chance to go back.

Our first trip to the Brickhouse was wonderful. It was my wife’s birthday and we wanted to enjoy a wonderful night out on the town. The Brickhouse was the perfect place for us to celebrate.
The service was amazing. Our server, Glenn, was so personable and we enjoyed our banter with him. He was always there when we needed him and respecting our special time when we didn’t. His recommendations for food and beverages were spot on.
The food was amazing. Everything was prepared and cooked perfectly. Our compliments to the chef and his/her team. Every bite was an experience we savored. And the bartender created a drink experience we will not soon forget.
The prices were exactly what I expected for this special experience. There are many great restaurants in Bend, but the Brickhouse is one you should strongly consider. We will be going back!!
