We held a high school graduation party at the Brickette and they did an amazing job! Travis was our point of contact for planning the event. The team estimated the food perfectly based on our head count and we were able to bring home the leftovers which were welcome and delicious! The food is amazing! The open bar for our guests was reasonably priced and the bar staff and food service staff were top-notch. We were able to bring in decorations and desserts. Travis couldn’t have been nicer and was so accommodating of our requests, even playing our personally crafted playlist on the bar sound system. I highly recommend the Brickette to anyone who wants a fun, memorable event!

I am a regular at the Brickette. The vibe that Trevor and the staff has improved so much people are really generally having a great time. You all should try for this experience. The bands this weekend were awesome. I love how you can order food at the bar now and get it delivered to you. John who I think it’s a great chef Is going outside the box to deliver food that is absolutely great. Also, the addition of the new assistant general manager is having an impact definitely a good one.

Was excited to see a place with a large outdoor area and food plus drinks. This was at about 5:30pm
The food selection was ok. Got a roast beef sandwich (brisket) that was the highlight, half pound of wings, collard greens, coleslaw and a beer. The server at the counter was very helpful.
The outdoor space was very cool and we had our 3 YO with us so he could run around.
A few issues.
The food was not warm. The short time it too to walk to the back, the food was room temp.
The wings were dry. I like my wings well done, but these were dry. The bbq sauce helped.
The bar tender said our child was not allowed on the premises after 5pm. I asked even if we stay outside? After 5pm, no children on the premises. I apologized but had never heard of that in the area.
IMO not worth it just stopping over for food and a drink. I’m sure it’s better if you come for live music and dancing.

We stopped in on a Friday night for live music after having dinner somewhere else so we didn’t eat anything. We sat at a small table near the stage and next to the pool tables. Our server was friendly and quick. The place wasn’t too full when we first got there around 8:30p but after the band started at 9p it filled up quickly. The bar was packed. Our server handled the drinks for us and that was nice. We had a lot of fun. People were dancing and some dude in a cowboy hat was putting his hat on people and it was pretty fun to watch. Everyone in there seemed to be having a good time. From what our server said, it was busy for a Friday and Saturdays are usually packed.
From the road it looks like a convenience store and even once you walk inside you can’t really see how big it is until you walk around the bar.
Parking was easy however I imagine if they are busier on Saturday night it might get tight. Bathrooms were somewhat clean- probably get a lot of traffic. Check their band schedule and stop in. I heard they do line dancing too.

The BBQ sandwich was decent, but I found the pulled pork dry. I’d return to try other offerings though. Bar was interesting and looked like it would be a fun place at night. Give it a try for sure.

Really fun local bar to hang out. Definitely has good vibes, good music, good drinks. The only thing I was confused about is why they can’t bring food out to you. You have to order at the counter and pick up at the counter, it was weird because we had already sat down and ordered drinks at the bar (we didn’t know about the counter thing). When we got up to go order food, after the bartender told us, then two people sat in our seats where our drinks were.

Simple, live music. Wes the bar tender makes the best Old Fashions ever! Also, his specialities if you like fruity drinks the baby maker and the strawberry mint mojito.

Great local bar with amazing bbq and Mac & cheese. Homemade pepper sausage is also great! They have line dancing on Mondays and Wednesdays, which is great for beginners especially on Wednesdays. They have a really cozy space outside with fire places burning to keep you warm:). Have many live music opportunities which are great fun. The crowd is very friendly and approachable.

Bartenders are supremely deficient. They don’t recognize customers that need service for many minutes even when the bar is slow. Bathrooms are the worst experience in 30 miles. Food is decent, but they rarely have half the menu available

I have been driving past this quaint little place for almost a decade and felt intimidated by it a little. It was in the last six months that I decided I’ll try it. To my surprise I actually liked it, kinda changed my mind about WC a bit. It’s not as uptight as the many other bars in WC. Brickette (which means ‘lighter’ in French), along with its employees and atmosphere, felt light and relaxed — the kind of vibe that makes me want to come back. Although the drink I had was not strong, I had two glasses of it, and I’m not a drinker.
Aside of the being as light as the atmosphere, I had a chill Friday night.
