The restaurant has a large indoor and out door dining area. Plenty of chairs and tables. TVs on the inside and outside. The mac daddy dish was amazing and the The Shnitz was also very good. Given that’s it’s a brewery as well I also sampled a few beers. Customer service was great and everything came out in a timely/ efficient manner.

We visited for my birthday and had an experience that felt a bit like a stress test simulation for either the first waiter we had or my spouse and I. The evening was a series of logistical hiccups.
The Food: Brisket sandwich was delicious, but my spouse’s tortilla dish had a strong Play-Doh scent (a sign the masa/tortilla has spoiled) and the meat was so oversalted we had to send it back. We also tried to order two desserts, only to find out 40 minutes later that one was never entered and the other, (key lime pie) was out. We placed a to-go order at the start of the meal, which we had to ask about at the end only to find it was never placed, leaving us waiting another 20 minutes for it to be made.
The Drinks: They use impressively large 7oz flight glasses, but the menu is a guessing game, due to severely generic labeling “made with stone fruit”, or no hops listed. Several actively recommended beer by our first waiter were all unavailable.
The Service: Our first waiter was friendly, but after the second hiccup with the “Play-Doh” tortillas and the recommend-but-didn’t have beers, he joked that he’s “the last to know” and “never told anything.” After that comment, he disappeared until right before we left, and was replaced by someone else. When the new host asked if it was my birthday, we said yes and my wife requested a cake/candle; it never came out, despite the table directly next to us receiving one while we waited. We didn’t see Waiter #1 again until the very end, when he hovered closely to check the tip on the receipt.
The Atmosphere: The seating is incredibly tight; you’re close enough to your neighbors that you can reach out and touch shoulders. Staff seemed stressed/stretched out.
There’s definitely potential here because the brisket was a standout, but the communication between the bar, kitchen, and floor needs work. I wouldn’t come back for a special occasion, and I’d probably only order takeout for lunch, but I wouldn’t leave without checking the bag first.

They recently changed from a red sauce base for mussels to a beer based sauce. It is absolutely incredible! We get it all the time now, if you go during Happy Hour it is $3.00 off. Highly recommend it! The Bandit Chicken Sandwich is also awesome!

Highly recommend the wings (ask for a side of ranch, it’s phenomenal). I ordered the brisket sandwich with apple jalapeño slaw and it was decent, odd texture but good flavor. Great atmosphere, service was mediocre. Will return!

Everything I’ve had from here has tasted great. Service can be slow at times, but is usually friendly. Just leave yourself a little time, don’t be in a rush. You can sit at the bar, dine in at a table, or order takeout. They have an “outdoor” area that is covered and climate controlled and allows dogs. This has become one of our go-to spots because we can take the doggo and everything is pretty yummy. Mac n cheese is to die for. Fig & Pig Flatbread is great. Short Rib Pot Roast is so good. Brisket & Bleu Spring Rolls are so flavorful!
Update: Please make the Greek Quinoa Salad a permanent menu item. Had that tonight as a special and it is soooo good!!

Have eaten at Brick Works many times over the years and have always had a good experience. Staff is always friendly and attentive. And the recently enclosed outdoor space is great.
The food is delicious and served quick. The Classic Cheese Burger is full of flavor and the optional pretzel bun is a great addition. Other great choices include the flatbreads, the Bandit, and the Chincoteague Crabcake Sandwich.
We’ve seriously never had a bad meal here and can’t wait to return.

Tonight my husband and I brought my son to Brick Works for his 18th birthday dinner. We had a fabulous meal and fabulous service. Our waiter was on top of everything, very attentive, and had a good hustle. My steak was cooked to perfection, the Mac n cheese was big enough for all of us to share, and my husband and son both very much enjoyed their chicken and waffles and burger. We never knew this place was there, but were in the area running an errand and decided to stop in. We will definitely be back!

Went for the live music which was fantastic! The set up was outside on the patio which was nice except for the flies. I had the shrimp and grits which was super spicy which was not mentioned on the menu. I was not prepared to sweat out my dinner. My friend got the blackened mahi blt which she thoroughly enjoyed. The service was decent for the crowd that was there. Had to take pictures of the bathroom chandelier and a sign on the wall that I enjoyed! Will be back to try something not so spicy. Update #2: went back. Great experience! Got food that wasn’t spicy. Update #3 another visit. Great service even though we were the second to last ones to arrive. Within a half hour of closing time. Great cheese balls served with mozzarella sticks and crab dip was excellent! Service on point and super accommodating

We held a lovely Bridal Shower today in the screened-in porch area of Brick Works. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, with great care taken in food prep, in particular to address the bride-to-be’s shellfish allergy. Management and staff were helpful and accommodating throughout the prior planning and during today’s event. Everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to Tyler, Colton, and staff!

For 2-3 years I used to eat here once a week but it got to the point where I couldn’t do it anymore. The last time attempted diner at this establishment I order Carne Asada, the steak served on this plate was inedible, I couldn’t get one bite. It was guacamole and the 32 black beans that came on the plate what I had for dinner that night never to return. Captains Pizza, Long Neck Dinner, Paradise Pub and the Taste Garden all have better ratings than the Brick – What an embarrassment.
