We went upstairs to have a drink. The vibes are super cool inside this pub! In my opinion, this might be one of the best beer pubs that I have ever been to. The upstairs feels very rustic and almost like you’re in a castle of some sort. In true fashion, of course I got a glass of Guinness. It was perfect!
Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She even provided some suggestions based on what the others were looking for. Her name was Olivia!
Brick Store also has a full food menu too, but we just came for drinks. The food menu is tradiitonal pub type food, so fish and chips, chicken pot pie, etc. It honestly looked really good!
I will definitely be back here in the future!!
We got seated quickly, but it literally took 14 minutes for a server to come over and that was AFTER my husband flagged somebody down. The restaurant was not that busy. Once the server got to us, she was nice and very knowledgeable of their menu, which in my opinion, is poorly developed. If you’re a vegetarian or vegan RUN! Do NOT eat here!!! All of their soups have some sort of meat in it. Who does that?? And the only vegetarian/vegan option presented to us was a hummus based item and cornbread. Although we eat meat, we don’t pork and I’m allergic to seafood. I’m still trying to figure out why they feel sausage has to go in a vegetable soup with no option to get it without sausage?? We did order the cornbread, and that was definitely good. Everything else was bad. Their chicken wings tasted like they came from the frozen meat section of Publix and their burger tasted like a pre-packaged, reheated patty instead of a fresh one. It was nasty!
Considering their drink menu, which is very broad, I think this might be what they’re popular for. As far as the food, I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. It’s garbage.
In case it matters: I had the Trout dish, perfectly cooked crispy skin on trout fillet. Lovely puree and arugula citrus salad. YUM! Flourless chocolate cake hit the spot and the “Tittle Pop” popcorn is a yummy snack as well!
