On a cold dark snowy night, ferry from Shelter island met family. It has some nice tables off to right. Really enjoyed a nice pizza, great flavor and perfect for NY style pizza. Also had a side of perfect
broccoli rabe with garlic and olive oil, great mozzarella sticks, not like little frozen tubes. These looked and tasted handmade and deep fried. Finished with two large freshly made cannoli. Very reasonable.

Best Restaurant in Greenport! The food is always cooked perfectly AND with generous portions. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve tried many of the local restaurants and while there are some decent establishments, I find La Capricciosa to be the most consistent in terms of quality of taste and ingredients. A must try for anyone traveling or living in the Greenport area!

We love coming here for a casual non pretentious sit down dinner or to pick up a pizza. For a sit down dinner, Emerson is the most engaging waiter in Greenport. The food is delicious and the portions are beyond generous. See u next summer!

We were in town for a week’s getaway, and I’m glad we tried this wonderful establishment conveniently located close to where we were staying. At first we tried their scrumptious pizza and soup – and it was the best freshest minestrone I have ever had, and then we decided to have our New Year’s Eve’s meal from there as well. We had pasta dishes, salads and desserts. The food was delectable and the portions huge! Everything was freshly prepared. I loved their garlicky focaccia that comes with the meal.
The service is very friendly, and the place itself is cozy and clean. We can’t recommend it enough and will be sure to stop by when we come back to Greenport.

They said 20 min for a pie which is reasonable but 30 min later my wasn’t even in the oven… really disappointing. I hate waisting time. On top of that they put tip on my bill when ib said no tip… be careful with this place.
