Over 50 Years of Brick Oven History
Brick Oven has been serving Utah families for as long as most people can remember. Back in 1956, Stadium Lunch, a corner cafe, was converted into one of Utah’s first pizza parlors.
A contest determined its original name “Heaps A Pizza.” In fact, many people still refer to the restaurant as “Heaps Brick Oven.”
From the beginning, Brick Oven has had a commitment to delicious food and superior service. Even today, nearly all of the items served at Brick Oven are made from scratch daily.
From our signature Brick Oven Old Fashioned Root Beer (homemade since 1956) to our famous “Green” Ranch Dressing, we pride ourselves in offering the best in food quality and service that is second to none.
Flagship of a pizzeria chain serving all-you-can-eat pasta, soup & salad, plus signature root beer.

Great experience! Skibidi and bussin would come again.
The food is good, great root beer (free refills) and great pizza. I had the Margehrita pizza small, almost couldn’t finish it since it was so big back.
Very good though. I can feel the grease in my veins
Anyways this place is very skibidi and you’ll enjoy it. A bit pricey tho

I haven’t been here in years and it was so great to be back. I came for lunch to celebrate my early birthday. I had gotten a coupon from brick oven to have a free entrée. So I came for lunch and got a free pizza with some garlic bread and the salad bar. The atmosphere was very nice and the Service was very friendly and very welcoming. It was really nice and clean. I was getting my salad from the salad bar and they kept things clean and were able to make everything look very nice. When my pizza arrived, it was hot and fresh and very delicious. If you haven’t been here to brick oven, I highly recommend you come have their salad bar pizza and also try their pasta bar. Very very delicious. They also gave me a cookie because it was my birthday for free.

I recently visited this pizza place, and I have to say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The pizza was very good every bite was packed with flavor and had that perfect, delicious taste that makes you want to come back for more. The crust was just the right balance of crispy and soft, and the toppings tasted incredibly fresh.
One of the highlights of my visit was the apple beer. It was incredibly good refreshing, smooth, and paired perfectly with the pizza. It really elevated the entire dining experience.
From start to finish, everything was excellent. The food, the drinks, and the overall vibe of the place made it a spot I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves great pizza and a unique beverage to go with it.

As soon as I stepped outside of my car I could smell an amazingly good smell. The wait was very short and we got to sit down very soon. I got a meat pizza that was very good It filled me right up. I would definitely recommend this place

Over time I’ve been eating at Heaps O Pizza (Brick Oven) since the ‘70s. The feast for two was the standard on dates. This time we brought our granddaughters here for school concert treat and it was the same, good experience. They like getting the unlimited pasta and salad bar. My wife and I got the personal pizza and one time pass through the salad bar plus garlic bread. We hadn’t had the garlic bread before and it was light and delicious toasted individually by a delightful employee.
The salad bar was pretty standard. But please check the broccoli before setting it out! The last two times we have been to Brick Oven including tonight, the ends of the stems were black, I assume from mold.
We usually like the pizza. I think garlic butter on the crust would be a great addition. Two times ago our pizza was undercooked, but they took care of it with a new pizza.
We skip the soft drinks when we eat out, but not here. Their in house root beer is great! Try it.

The food is pretty good but not amazing. The atmosphere and service is amazing though! There was a cherry tomato molding in the bin at the salad bar, and the lettuce wasn’t very fresh. The chicken noodle soup was amazing though! Over all I think that this is great quality food for the price.

Got personal pizzas to go! Great deal for students!! Went Friday night around 9pm. They were super quick. The pizza is sooo good. Lots of sauce and good thick crispy crust. My friend got the gluten free crust and she said it was pretty good!! Still gf lol but pretty good! She was also impressed by the amount of chicken they put on her garlic chicken pizza. Great experience! (Gf pizza is pictured)

Had a bone in the pizza. Glad it was me and not a child but very unpleasant experience. Also the toppings were heavily in the center and you might not be able to tell from the photo (since it’s topped with cheese) but it was decently less than normal from here. They’ve recently raised their prices fyi, which I don’t mind because it’s decent but getting ripped on toppings was very sad and the bone situation was distressing (pictured)
ordered takeout. the cashier was really nice.

Did you know there is an unlimited pasta bar? Whaaat? You can go the traditional route and do the pizza, but the is also the extensive salad bar. You can take a single pass at the salad bar or go for the buffet style. On our visit, a Saturday afternoon, it was moderately busy, no wait. Waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered pizzas and single salad bar. Upon viewing the salad bar, it’s more of a buffet, with full salad bar options plus fruit, plus dessert, including pudding and cookies. Very kid friendly. Only miss in my book was the white sauce on my pizza was not sufficient to keep it moist. Was a bit dry going down. I went to the salad bar and grabbed a little cup of ranch to wash it down. Overall, was a good experience and will be back.

Worst pizza I’ve had in ages. It’s an insult to other 1 star pizza.
I don’t know how they have been open for almost seventy years. They must get their name from their pizza being as hard and dry as a brick. Or maybe they just like basketball and throw bricks. I’ve had amazing pizza at local places across the country and in Italy.
The hearth crust, whatever that’s supposed to be, was overly hard. Not crispy. It was hard and dry. The texture of the crust was so off-putting that we thought we had ordered a gluten-free pie. It was so flat and dense.
Speaking of dry, the pizza was baked until the cheese was hard. It wasn’t gooey. There was no pull. The cheese was like a hard layer of sediment on extremely greasy pizza.
The overpriced salad had two and a half croutons. Geez, thanks. And black olives on a salad? The 90s lunch school lunch is calling and it has the Brick Oven Salad’s name all over it.
This was also so expensive. $21.50 for a 12″ pepperoni. $26.50 for a 12″ chicken bacon ranch. Almost $9 for a salad.
Try any other pizza. From the lowly Little Caesars to the mighty Mozz. I would take Red Baron and Tombstone every day over Brick Oven. All are a big upgrade over this poor excuse for pizza.
