Yummy! There was something for each of our kids here, and us adults. It is fun to eat here because it is has been around for so long now! The wait was 35 minutes. They had to round up some utensils for us. We went near closing time and you could tell that they were trying to rush things along so that they could get cleaned up and out of there. They took our parmesan shaker before we were done so that they could get them in the fridge for the night. There was no more garlic bread available at the pasta bar because it was the end of the day even though it was supposed to come with my meal. I loved the root beer. It is very refreshing. The pasta was pretty good too. My husband like the soup. I like the decor and atmosphere. And the wood-fired oven for the pizza was fun to watch. The kids enjoyed the kids meals… pizza, chicken, spaghetti. Each kids meal came with a lollipop. They forgot about those but we made sure to ask at the end.

This is a fun place with a nice ambiance to eat pizza or pasta. The salad bar is also great with many fresh choices. The Market Room menu choice includes all you can eat pasta bar, soup, salad, and garlic bread. They also have gluten-free pastas and pizzas. The homemade root beer is delicious, as is the non-alcoholic apple beer. You can buy a pitcher of the root beer or apple beer. The servers are also friendly.

My parents actually worked at Brick Oven in the early 70s, and I love that they have a lot of the history in the waiting area. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because they put us on the list and then never called us because they had skipped us, so we got to sit and extra 20 minutes. Prices were decent, food was great, loved the salad bar. This place IS on/next to BYU campus, so conversations overheard from other tables were questionable, and we got some glances walking in with motorcycle helmets. Love a big sit down place for good pizza.

When you want pizza and salad your husband takes you to get pizza and salad. My husbands first time at #BrickOvenPizza they have a great salad bar so we got a pizza with a turn thru the #saladBar Beverages included homemade #rootBeer which is tasty and #appleBeer #pizza was a half #garlicChicken half #ChickenPineapple and was delicious. They also have a good pasta bar but we didn’t get it this time. lots of memories at this original BYU pizza joint. Heaps of Pizza. It’s a good idea to call ahead as it gets very busy at times.

Server was awesome and the pasta, salad and soup market buffet had so much variety and definitely filling. The clam chowder was one of the better versions i have had. Pizza was great – love the sauce and crust. I couldnt get enough of the root beer. Don’t live here but will definitely be back when we visit again.

Italian comfort food with interesting visual style variations for each dining area. Service is great. Always fun to see the actual brick oven in use.

Brick Oven is all about the atmosphere and experience. I got the Market Room Buffet which had a pretty good salad bar and average pasta. It is a fun experience building your own pasta and salad. It has fun rooms and decor. I have had other menu items before as well and they are good. The service was great. Our server was very friendly.

Brick Oven has steadily gone downhill in my opinion. I’ve been going there for over 40 years. It used to be the best place in town but not anymore. This time my pizza had so few toppings that one piece had nothing on it at all, it was just dry brown crust. The garlic bread has no garlic flavor whatsoever. The prices have steadily gone up and the food quality has steadily gone down. It makes me sad because I have loved this place and it is nostalgic for me with many happy family memories. But, truthfully I find myself wanting to go elsewhere for pizza and Italian food more often than not. I hope you can redeem yourself Brick Oven!
