Perfect family location and dog friendly. It was close to the beach with great views. Jaylin our server was accommodating- we originally were sitting in a shaded and windy area and she let us sit in the sun by the fire pit. They have a reasonable kids menu and you get a lot of food for their $7.99 kids menu. Their chili came with cornbread, which was tasty as well and the bowl was more than enough for a lunch serving.

In town for a week and decided to try this place because they were showing the Texans game. Was not disappointed. Many people had the same idea so the place was hopping , I still had great service. Food was delicious. Come hungry! We had chips and queso and then I had the chicken club and couldn’t finish it. My wife had a bowl of chili and what I couldn’t finish. Good times.

Delicious, Fun , Great Menu, Beautiful Fires. Friendly Service! We had such a delicious dinner Friday night that we ended up eating their Saturday night as well. Our server Riley was super sweet and gave us great service both nights!

During our vacation, we visited dozens of restaurants in Galveston and Southern Houston. This place so far is by far our favorite. It was one of the only places open on Christmas Eve and we were lucky. We didn’t have to wait very long. Right when we got there, the hostess says we’re so polite and inviting wanted to make sure we got taken care of and we’re happy even though we had a bit of a wait… we got seated quick enough, and Dillon was our server. He was really great because he knew the menu and recommended some things to us that were really popular. Everything he recommended to us was top-notch. Some of the appetizers were absolutely brilliant like the cheese bricks the meatballs and the deviled eggs were amazing. Our table ordered the chili a pasta dish, a burger, and the chicken pot pie. The chili is some of the best I’ve ever had. you have to make sure and get it loaded as Dillon suggested it was amazing! The chicken pot pie is made there fresh every day, and it was unbelievably good so rich and luxurious the flavors were crazy. Good! The pasta was came with meatballs and sauce, which we already knew was good from the appetizer and the burger was huge. It came with sweet potato tater tots, and they were delicious. One of the other highlights was the duck wings they came with the sauce that was amazing. We tried the apple crumble, which of course was hands-down delicious and the big brownie. They were both oversized, desserts and both excellent. This is a place. We will definitely be visiting again before we leave And it’s by far my favorite so far. I would highly recommend anybody who wants really great food and great service at a reasonable price!!!

Located on the Seawall, this is the perfect place to sit outside, grab a drink and something to eat, and enjoy the scenery. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here, but the Chicken and Waffles are the best I’ve ever had. I also highly recommend the fried devil eggs. They were amazing! Brick House never disappoints!

The atmosphere is really nice. Service was quick and friendly. Food was ok. Nothing to special. The ketchup bottle we received was pretty dirty and the syrup we were given was nearly empty. Plenty of parking in back.

We visited the Brick house twice on our stay in Galveston. The second was a very busy playoff game. Both times we had extraordinary service and the food was amazing! Super attentive staff and the huge fireplace was perfect. Super good prices on food and beer!

The lowest reviews all have a consistent theme, and I understand why. Service here isn’t bad, it just doesn’t exist.
I sat at the bar in front of the “supervisor” Norma, and a bartender. I wasn’t greeted. They talked till balances for a few minutes and walked off. When I was about to leave the patio waiter came by and asked if I’d been helped. He brought me a menu and the beer I requested, but didn’t return.
Norma, nor the other two women bartending never asked if I needed anything, if I wanted a water, to order food, or another beer. They did have time to chat with a couple regulars and each other quite a bit.
A couple came in after me and got served, but only because they shouted down one of the bartenders. She took their order, brought their food, and didn’t check on them at all. Maybe they’re still there?
I luckily had some cash on me and am leaving it under my beer as I take my last swig, tap post, and leave.

Helaina was a fun and friendly server who made us feel welcome. She took the time to explain different local draft beers so we could make an appropriate selection. She accommodated our request for watching Golf as well. Indoor/outdoor seating and dog friendly. Great views of the Seawall and the beach.

The place is nice and dog-friendly, which was the main reason I chose to go there.
Unfortunately, the service was the worst part of the experience. Besides the long wait for our food—which I could overlook since it was crowded and short-staffed—our waitress completely abandoned our table after bringing the food.
No napkins, no sauces, no drink refills… I had to ask other servers just to get some napkins. She only returned when we were almost finished.
So yeah, it was a bit frustrating.
