In the middle of that incredibly difficult moment, Brick House Soup showed us a level of kindness and humanity I will never forget. Even though they normally do not deliver to the hospital, they made a beautiful exception just for us. They thoughtfully prepared warm soups and sandwiches for my kids, found a way to help us despite payment challenges, and treated us not as strangers, but as people who needed compassion and care.
Their food was comforting and delicious, but what truly touched my heart was their warmth, empathy, and generosity. Their kindness brought comfort and hope at a moment when everything felt overwhelming. They reminded me that even in the hardest situations, there are people in this world whose goodness can make you cry. In the best, most healing way.
Brick House Soup is so much more than a restaurant. It is a place filled with heart, humanity, and truly good people. I am deeply grateful, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in Ellsworth.
We did not expect to find a lovely breakfast like this in a little town. We kept going there every morning when we were in town.
The chicken Tikka Masala Soup is a must try. It’s almost like a chili but with proper Tikka Masala taste. Their version can easily compete with the big city offerings. Very lovely to have a warm soup in a cold morning.
The brick house is properly made, with nice pumpernickel bagel, a non-greasy egg, and just a touch of bacon for flavor without it being overwhelming
They guys in there are very friendly and great service
Highly recommend
I am now convinced there’s nothing you can order on this menu that’s not delicious. Pricing is super fair and it was the perfect spot to stop for a casual quick meal. If you have the pleasure of stopping here, be warned: you will be back.
