I went there 2 nights ago and let me tell you, the combination of brick wall, old style pictures frame seems to bragging about their food authenticity. Food feels homemade and it warm your heart. I highly recommended you try the octopus grill. It brought me happy tears and memories of seafood grill I had back in my country. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the host are funny, friendly and tend to my every care. I’m definitely coming back. I ate more food but I forgot to take photos, but you could see from this examples photo of mine, they are worth a try. If you are into authentic Italian food, then this is for you

First time here and glad I came. Very good wings (oil and onions and the honey siracha) big fresh and juicy! The salad we had was delicious as well. The pizzas were good. Lots of flavorful toppings, good sauce! Not my style of pizza (it’s well done in the brick ovens) but it was still good. Great service (thanks David). The dining room is open to the kitchen with a handful of TVs . They serve Boylans soda! This is a BYOB!

This was our second attempt. This first time was last month when they messed up our order and after calling and being told they’d credit our food to us. We called it in saying we had a credit. My guy picked up the order and was told they couldn’t find it but I guess I’ll have to comp it. I don’t lie to get free food. You made the mistake just because it took us a bit to come back…..anyway, the pizza that we wanted the first time and actually got this time was very tasty. We got tenders instead of the wings they came with fries, the tenders had a nice flavor.
I personally will not pick this place again after being treated like a scam artist.

I was disappointed with my experience at Bricco Coal Fired Pizza. The staff and management’s attitude felt unwelcoming. If you enjoy very burnt crust, this might be the place for you—but it wasn’t for me.

Each pizza came out with a heavy char that overpowered the rest of the flavors. Instead of enhancing the pizza, the coal-fired oven seemed to take away from it. It felt more like “coal pizza” than coal-fired pizza.

For the price, I expected better treatment and better quality. There are too man quality options to return here.

This was my second time at Bricco, we first visited after seeing Dave Portnoy a couple years back. Our initial visit left us with mixed feelings so we decided to give it another shot after a friend recommended the pizza. This time we came around noon just as they were opening for lunch. We ordered fries and a large coal fired pizza. The fries were excellent, the spicy chipotle mayo really stood out. As for the pizza while it definitely looks the part the flavor didn’t quite live up to the presentation. Similar to our first visit it felt like something was missing. It has all the components of great coal fired pizza, but somehow it falls just short. Some parts were nicely crisp, while others bordered on burnt. Overall it came across as decent, but a little bland. They also only serve a smaller brand of soda, not Coke or Pepsi. On our last visit I tried the wings, which were actually pretty solid. All in all if you’re looking for that classic New York style/New Haven style pizza, this might not fully hit the mark.

First time to dine at the restaurant. For a Sunday night it was very busy and extremely noisy. Servers seemed completely overwhelmed and not really sure what’s going on. We had to ask for a few items a few times like drinks, ketchup and sauces. I ordered a house salad and asked for mozzarella cheese on the side. It took about 30 minutes to get it and when it came had green and black things on it and I asked for a new one which again took a long time. The restaurant was extremely noisy and difficult to hear conversations. The servers seemed annoyed when we asked for things for our table as well.

We visited this place on a Friday night about 6 PM. It’s in a small shopping center with plenty of parking so that wasn’t an issue. We walked in and we had to wait about 10 minutes because we preferred to Booth as opposed to the smaller tables for two.
.
We got there just in time because once we were seated, it seemed as if the weight and folks inside Stan waiting for a table grew exponentially.
.
This was our first time here, so we didn’t know what to expect. We just wanted our first time to be basic, we split a Caesar salad, and we ordered one plain cheese, pizza, and their white pizza. I don’t know the official names of these pizzas, but I’ve attached menus to this review for those to see.
.
Cesar salad was really good. We asked for extra dressing on the side because almond nut job with dressings and I like my salads to be almost like lettuce soup. They had no problem fulfilling that request and this Caesar salad salad was really kind of unique. It wasn’t like a standard Caesar salad we’ve ever gotten before, but we both really enjoyed it. We don’t know what set it off, maybe was the crunchy things they put on top? We thought they were like those crispy onions? We don’t know the menu gave no description on what was actually in the salad. The dressing also was unique. We enjoyed it, but it had like stone, ground mustard like balls or seeds in there like you would find a hardy stone ground mustard? I know we liked It .
.
We got two pizzas. They are cooked in a brick oven there, and they came out looking fantastic. We really enjoyed the white pie more, but we don’t think they put garlic on it, and the menu does not say garlic and we thought that’s what it needed. We asked our server and they promptly brought out his bottle of pizza. Taste better….
.
The pie was cooked very well, had enough cheese tasted OK, but we just thought the sauce was way too bland. It needed the oregano, garlic and red pepper flakes to infuse some sort of tomato flavor. That was a little surprising for us, but the pieces are relatively affordable. And we did it, we just thought it would’ve been a little bit more authentic tasting of a sauce.
.
The two large pizzas were about 16 inches big or about I think $16 each? The two pizzas in the Caesar salad came to less than $50.
.
Would we go out of our way again to go here, probably not. But if we were out and about and it was dinner time and driving by, you know, we wouldn’t hesitate to stop by. We’re just lucky with really good pizza around here that we prefer other spots around.

I ordered from Bricco last night through door dash. We got a Margarita and Carni pizza. Delicious!! The “Old School Meatballs” from the appetizer menu were something else!! I have never seen this dish before. Coal fired meatballs in the same container as a vinegary salad. This is my new favorite thing. The meatballs were DELISH and taking bites of them with this vinegary Italian like salad. Chefs kiss.

A go to spot. One of the best pizzas in the area. If you are a true pizza person, and have not come to Bricco, you owe it to yourself to make the trip. The coal fire oven and the ingredients used make for a special pizza that is a step above others in the area. The other menu items are also very good. Both locations are great, but this one is more local to me*

Stepping into this pizzeria was like being teleported back to my year in Rome. It’s a rare and beautiful thing when a restaurant can so perfectly capture the spirit of a place, and this one does it with every single bite.
The pizza itself is a masterpiece of simplicity and quality. The crust has those wonderful, slightly charred, crispy black edges that tell you it was kissed by a very hot oven, just as it should be. The tomato sauce is vibrant, made from tomatoes so fresh they taste like they were picked that morning. This isn’t just pizza; it’s a testament to the power of using truly great ingredients.
Each topping is a star in its own right, from the juicy fresh ingredients to the traditional Italian flavors that sing on your palate. It’s an experience that’s both rustic and refined. This is the kind of food that makes you exclaim, “Mamma mia!” with genuine delight. The price is incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality, and the service is as warm and welcoming as a Roman afternoon.
Without a doubt, this is our new go-to spot. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a nostalgic trip that reminds you of everything you love about Roman food and culture. Try it!
