I found Briar Ridge BBQ at a wine event at Press and Barrel Wine Collective, and what a find! This food truck is an absolute gem. I went all in with the 3×3—every meat and every side—and it did not disappoint. The brisket was the star, tender and flavorful. The potato salad and beans were equally fantastic, complementing the meats.
My kids devoured their quesadilla and grilled cheese, and they couldn’t get enough of the queso and chips. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and delicious. The owners were a highlight too—super friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about their craft. If you’re in Newberg, hunt down this food truck.

We love Chehalem Valley Brewing in Newberg and have always been a little bummed that they’re not open on Mondays. We are SO GLAD that they’re now open on Monday’s from 3-9 pm and that they have the Briar Ridge BBQ food truck available for really great Texas-style BBQ in Newberg! The good is AMAZING and well definitely be back for more on future Mondays for a child beverage and great BBQ!!!
