Cute place but the service was horrible was told I’d get a refill but that never came. The fries were so hard you couldn’t hardly eat them on top of them being fried in the same oil as their fish so they tasted like fish. The burger was good but the menu price was $2.00 cheaper then what I was charged. I don’t recommend coming here. They will walk off with your money when you go to pay to take other people’s orders. It’s definitely a locals only type of place.

A good, honest place to let your hair down & fill up. The place was busy but the photos show available space & some of the interesting ambiance. We stopped off on our way home from Chicago & so glad we did–we’ll need to go back because the exhaustive menu warrants exploring! Really, really good food. If you go on Mondays you can partake in several taco specials.

On our way home after Christmas stopped here for dinner. We had the stuffed pork chop special with potatoes green beans and soup or salad. It was really good and plentiful. I had the stuffed pepper soup and it was delicious. Our server was bubbly friendly and attentive. The decor was tavern which served food. We sat in a booth. Everything was top quality. It made out 7 hr drive home a lot nicer. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Hidden gem! This place is fantastic. Absolutely loved the food and environment. Massive Homestyle Plates of Food that taste amazing. I had the fried chicken… GET THAT. They also have daily specials that you’ll want to check out. This little place is worth the detour if you’re on the interstate! I’m glad we found it!

My husband and I deliver freight for a living. We always prefer a mom & pop establishment over a chain restaurant. This quaint diner served up a breakfast that did not disappoint!!! Hubby ordered hard fried eggs, ham, bacon and super crispy hash browns. (He always asks for them this way and is most often disappointed but you guys totally nailed it!!!) I ordered easy over eggs, corned beef hash and grits…everything was perfection. We enjoyed the hometown atmosphere and were blessed to be in your midst while dining there. We will remember to stop again when passing through!!!

We had 2 omelets and hash browns with 2 cups of sausage gravy and a cheese burger cooked rare. Was the best food we have had in a long time It was all fresh and homemade The gravy was fresh not crap from a can the browns were not frozen and the burger was not a frozen patty all fresh and AMAZING. the best food in Monee and the area. GREAT COOKS you would be happy eating there

So my first time ordering this I tried there Cajun skillet, and may I tell you that good isn’t enough to describe this restaurant. It popped up on my uber eats for free delivery and I’m glad i chose it. The French toast is pretty good to. I will definitely be coming back here.

I have been a regular for 12yrs, and since Brian sold the place it has been noticeable that the service has taken a nose dive, beer right away, but, food order took 40min if I didn’t call on the phone I would have waited longer. then the waitress blamed me. Prices are way up and my regular drinks are not in stock when I come in. But food is good despite the price hike. Sorry to say, but that is my last time I will be going in there, I do not need attitude and pay substantially more.

If you like good food, this is the place for you. The cheese burgers are to die for. Very tasty with Brian’s Texas rub. The service is prompt and friendly, the beer is cold and I was astonished at how reasonable the prices are.
