The burger was excellent — very filling, with a thick patty, almost like a mini steak. The fries were ordinary, nothing special, and the wings were good but standard. A nice bonus was the cookie they added to the meal for free. Overall, really tasty and worth trying!

I’ve always seen this spot in my Facebook feed and today I was close enough to give them a try. I’m so glad I did.
I walked in and was greeted by a very nice lady behind the counter. After looking over the menu, I had it narrowed down to a couple of burgers, then the lady told me about the Burger of the Month named “Good Night Irene” which has a panko breaded crab cake with pico de gallo and a spicy remoulade on top of half pound in-house chuck and pork belly blend burger patty.
Thats all I needed to hear, so I order the burger and the garlic Parmesan fries.
While I waited for my food, I noticed how cool the place was. Rock and Roll memorabilia all through the restaurant. They had a Heart concert playing on the screens. Even the bathroom had rock and roll quotes on the walls.
I received my food and after the first bite I was in burger nirvana. The crab cake was crisp and seasoned well. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium. They combined for one hell of a delicious bite. The remoulade and pico de gallo had a nice zip that pulled the entire burger together.
The garlic Parmesan fries were crisp and fluffy with just the right amount of garlic and Parmesan.
My food also came with a delicious Almost Famous butter cookie. It would have been awesome with a milkshake. They have milkshakes on the menu, but I didn’t order one.
At the end of my meal I had to tell the gentleman behind the counter that it was an awesome burger.
All in all, great burger, great service, great music and a great vibe. I’m looking forward to the next Burger of the Month.

Cool spot!! My wife and I had a random craving for a juicy (not fast food) burger and decided on BRGRBelly in Portage Park. It was exactly what we had in mind! I got the Rising Sun A thick, tasty juicy burger that was not overpriced, served with waay too many fries! We’ll definitely be back. 100% recommend

If you want a good burger and not just the old hamburger with cheese on a bun, check this place out. We had the Too Gouga be true, Amazing Grace, Rising Sun, and my son just a plain bacon Swiss. All were delicious! Their fries are also good, with options like Garlic Parmesan or with pork belly.

My first time with this establishment, we got carryout so I can’t review the service or atmosphere. I ordered the Easy Rider looking forward to the smoked bacon and sriracha pickles to add flavor to the sandwich and if I didn’t see the bacon and pickles, I wouldn’t have known they were there. Even the burger itself could have improved with some salt and pepper. Even the bourbon BBQ was awol. The house fries were limp and stringy. Again the sea salt and course black pepper were somewhere. Overall there was nothing here that would want me to come back.

Had an awesome time here. Owner (I think?) was extremely friendly and the food was really good. Really enjoyed the Gouda burger. The fried pickles were awesome too. Tried the chipotle fries and they were really good as well. Will definitely come back for more!!

Burgers were relatively good, $16.20 for a burger with a fried egg added and garlic Fries. Would not order the Too Gouda be true again, needed something to break up the flavors. Fries were good, but regret not getting the Polish fries and not getting the garlic bites which were very good!
Bathroom was pretty good for a random burger place.
Menu was pretty small and could use some more options, they do offer to switch the burger patty for various alternatives.
Not bad but was empty most of the time we were there.

I had the Old Time Religion burger & my guy had the Gallows Poll burger. We shared the Blue Cheese fries & thank goodness because the order was big! These burgers & fries were some of the best we’ve ever had! We were pretty hungry and couldn’t finish all of anything. It wasn’t for a lack of trying because the flavors were amazing…I hated leaving those few bites behind! 🙂 They have a great beer selection and were helpful in finding me a local wheat beer (that I fell in love with).
The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is fun & funky with rock posters, art, & even a rock concert on the TVs. It was super clean, too. I’m really impressed with my first meal in Chicago and highly recommend this awesome burger joint!

We went there for the first time tonight. Why oh why did it take us so long to try it?! First of all the patio is cute as all get out. The inside is small but has so much atmosphere and the music is great! The guy behind the counter was running his legs off and was so very friendly. You order at the counter and then sit and wait for your order, which is fine with me. I got the Black Betty with grilled chicken and hubs got the the Old Time Religion with their house ground burger blend. Mine was amazing! Hubs was even better with the ground burger blend! We got parm garlic fries too. They were hand cut which is the best. These people do it all. They bake their own buns. We saw them continually putting them in the oven and taking them out. They grind their own burger blend. They make all of their sauces. And hand cut their own fries and onions rings too. They also have a good selection of canned and bottled beers. The prices are so reasonable especially with all of the love that goes into the menu and the down right hard work that they put into the ingredients. We aren’t sorry that we tried it and you won’t be either!
