I had the sweetest surprise discovering this adorable little café tucked right inside the Sachem Public Library in Holbrook, NY. As a nanny, I’m always looking for convenient spots to take the kids for a break, and this café is perfect. After reading and playing in the library, we wandered over for lunch for the first time — and I’m honestly obsessed.
The atmosphere feels like something straight out of a Hallmark movie. Soft Christmas music like “Baby It’s Cold Outside” plays while you hear the gentle sounds of the sink running and coffee brewing in the background. It’s cozy, calm, and somehow still blends perfectly with the peaceful quiet of the library surrounding it.
The staff is incredibly welcoming, the food is delicious, and the coffee is honestly better than a lot of big cafés in the area. Everything about it is cute — from the menu to the décor to the friendly vibe. It truly feels like a small-town coffee shop you’d stumble upon in one of those feel-good holiday movies.
It’s become our new little routine: finish books, grab a treat, relax for a bit, and enjoy the warm atmosphere. Such a convenient and charming spot — I can’t recommend it enough!

The line moved fast and the service was great. The drinks are always so delicious! love the hot cider option in the colder seasons and the gluten free dessert options are a plus. The vegan chocolate chip cookies are my favorite since dairy free desserts are hard to come by and they are the best cookies always soft and doughy. Highly recommend

I frequent this library and Cafe. Today I had a horrible experience. I walked to the library with my one year old child. I sadly left my wallet at home. So I asked the brewport cafe for a cup of water for my child to hold him over till I got home. They refused.. I just can not imagine how a place in a library couldn’t have just been a bit more accommodating to its visitors. It wasn’t like I was asking for coffee and a pastry for myself. It was clearly for my small child.
