Brewchacho’s Tacos & Cantina, a full-service Taco, Margarita and Craft Beer Bar, which opened in 2018 on the Historic Strand in Galveston. Brewchacho’s menu includes some of the best queso in Galveston county, fabulous made to order guacamole, signature tacos like the Southwest Fried Chicken Taco, the Mango Shrimp Taco and the Steakhouse Taco. Brewchacho’s also serves Quesadillas, Burritos, Street Tacos and Quesa Birria Tacos along with many other craft tacos. Kitchen closes 1 hour before bar closing time.

This place was hands down the best place we’ve eaten at in galveston. Not sure why it doesnt have higher ratings because the food we had was excellent.
Queso was fantastic with fresh ingredients, burrito was delicious, the “customer favorite” tacos were banging. Super yummy shrimp mango tacos and southwest chicken and mahi mahi.
Server was friendly and great, food came out fast! Highly recommended!

One of my overall favorite places to eat on the strand. The food is always great and fresh. I always get the burrito bowl and it’s delicious. Sitting in the outside area is nice but if you get the chance to sit at the bar when it isn’t full do it! All of the bartenders and servers are super friendly! 10/10

I visited on a Sunday evening while down on the island. The music, vibe, drinks, and service were all good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the food didn’t match the rest of the experience.
It was later in the evening, but the kitchen was still scheduled to be open for more than an hour when I arrived, so I didn’t think there would be any issues. I ordered the fajita chicken bowl since it seemed like a relatively light option – chicken, vegetables, and rice.
When the food arrived, the first sign something was off was that the disposable container was leaving a pool of grease on the table underneath it. Once I started eating, every bite had an unpleasant crunch from what seemed like overcooked rice, probably the layer stuck to the bottom of the pot that had been sitting for a while. I get not wanting to make a fresh batch of rice at 9:30 pm, but if the kitchen is open until 11 the food should still be decent and especially when charging $5 for rice instead of a tortilla.

The floor and roof very dirty the floor pavers uneven almost tripped. No water misters, upon entering staff was playing coaster pong, with coasters flying over our head no greating. It was difficult to distinguish who was taking our order because they were waiting for us to get out of their way, and starring at us with no words. It was so dirty I was wondering how dirty the kitchen is. I ordered a brisket bowl and it was not brisket no flavor. Guy with curly hair kept me from leaving. I dont recommend any dish.
