This was our first time here and it was flipping phenomenal! Our server was the bartender Grace and not only was she attentive she was warm and welcoming. The service was an easy 10 and our experience was at a high level because of her. In addition, the cooks must be something special because that food was holy heck!!! Cooked to perfection, tasty, and the presentation was gorgeous. We will be here over and over again and we drove from Colorado Springs. Get there fast!!!

BAR REVIEW. Came here Sunday night—there were available seats so we sat at the bar. Bartender was nice and attentive—cocktails were great. Food was good and came out fairly quick, and overall, prices were reasonable. Good place for a casual meal!

This is the place to eat when your in Black Hawk! Jessica is the number 1 bartender. I hadn’t been there in several weeks and she still remembered what I drank. She in the best of the Best!!! The food is very good too.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have never had such a horrible experience. It took 2 hours to receive our entrees and when they came out they were completely cold. The managers were super unhelpful and very stand offish. Went to celebrate my husbands birthday with family and wish we would’ve went elsewhere.i will never be back to this establishment and I really think they need to consider retraining their management staff, especially since they were wanting to blame the entire issue on our server. Do better.

I went in and initially received very little attention from the staff about where to sit. After waiting, I was eventually seated, oddly away from everyone else, even though the restaurant was not busy. The service throughout the visit was extremely slow.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately, the biscuits were hard, dry, and tasted stale. The eggs and sausage were also cold when they arrived. After receiving my meal, no one checked on me to see how things were or if I needed anything else. The service felt completely nonexistent, which was surprising given that it was a quiet Monday morning.

It’s disappointing because the restaurant itself has a very nice atmosphere and looks like it should offer a great experience. However, the lack of service and poor food quality suggest a need for better management and direction. Unfortunately, I would not recommend eating breakfast here based on my experience.

What I’m learning about Black Hawk is that the restaurant scene tends to be average — but the service has been consistently great.
We sat at the bar, and our bartender (I believe her name is Alex? was a Rockstar! She was bubbly, personable, and on point. She truly elevated the experience.
I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce on the side. The flavor was decent, but the chicken tasted slightly frozen, and while the fries looked great, they were just okay.
Overall, enjoyable atmosphere and still a better experience than the $100 dinner we had the night before.

The food was very good. The service was a little slow – only two wait staff for the restaurant, but still helpful if not fully attentive. We had the chicken pho, a big bowl of noodles. I wish it had been not steaming hot, but it was still good with all the side veggies to dump in. The French dip was good, but overly big. The onion rings were ok, some of the battery was uneven. And finally the deep fried pickles, with were interesting, but just for the uniqueness. Overall, a good place to eat between gaming activities.

Food was brought out cold. My french fries were literally rock hard and you could tell they were not fresh. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was overcooked, super dry and rubbery. (Not edible) My husband ordered a chicken club, The piece of grilled chicken that they put on my sandwich was so small. It was just bread and bacon. Girlfriend ordered the Carne Asada torta. It was covered in spicy mayonnaise. Most of it was bread and a few pieces of meat on it. The Appetizers were decent we got the chicken southwest eggrolls and the potatoes skins. Onions Rings were good. Drinks were pretty watered down and had no flavor. I felt really bad for the server. It seemed like he had most of the restaurant unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

A Fourth of July to Remember at Brew Brothers – Blackhawk, CO

Stopped into Brew Brothers on the Fourth of July and was absolutely blown away. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming — people were enjoying great conversations, and some were even playing basketball nearby, which added a really fun, casual vibe to the evening.

I ordered the fried pickles to start and was surprised (in the best way) to see they were whole fried pickles, not the usual chips. Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor and freshly fried-definitely a standout appetizer.

Then came the smoked brisket sandwich, and it was outstanding. The brisket was smoky, tender, and packed with rich flavor — easily one of the best I’ve had. Everything tasted fresh and made with care.

Between the friendly energy, great food, and festive holiday atmosphere, BREW Brothers made my Fourth of July unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The food and service used to be decent but we will NOT come back. The waitress, Ali, ignored our food that was sitting in the kitchen causing it to be cold. We saw our food sitting for 10+ minutes and had to ask her to get it. It was only us and one or two other tables so they weren’t busy. Our waitress was instead organizing things behind the bar. Our pretzel came out cold. The potato skins were burned to a crisp, blackened on the outside and inedible. The chicken fingers weren’t trimmed well and had disgusting chicken pieces. We had to ask for our check and then wait while she again did unnecessary tasks behind the bar. DO NOT COME HERE.
