Tourist Trap. As someone who appreciates the amazing culinary standards we have in the Northeast, this place is a major disappointment. It’s a classic “proximity tax” situation where you pay premium prices for bottom-tier effort. There are plenty of spots in Salem that actually respect their craft—this isn’t one of them. Don’t let the location fool you. This place survives solely on tourists who don’t know any better. The prices are outrageous for the quality you actually get. Save your money and walk an extra five minutes for a place that actually cares about what they’re serving.

The breakfast and coffee was so good! The breakfast burrito was highly recommended and it did not disappoint! It was really good – the tomato jam was a perfect addition to it. The biscuit with raspberry jam was also really good – I enjoyed a simple breakfast item! The jam tasted fresh and natural – not like the store bought sugar loaded jams. My husband enjoyed the cold brew coffee. Was in walking distance to our hotel, which was a huge bonus!

If you have one morning in Salem to grab breakfast, come here.
The menu is small, but that isn’t bad because what’s on it is executed well. I don’t have to ask if everything is house-made because you can tell it is. We got egg/cheddar biscuit sandwiches. The biscuit was fluffy, so was the egg. I don’t know how they prepped/seasoned their egg, certainly unique and very tasty.
We also got these really neat house-made pop tarts. We visited in the middle of October so they had seasonal decorations on them.
Black coffee was great.
The establishment is small and made for take away, but there’s a perfect courtyard across the street and adjacent to Brew Box. There’s large rocks for prime seating. It completed the experience.
Service was also timely. Not too long of a wait.

Ambiance: No seating available inside or outside of this cafe.
Service: super friendly!
Food: Ordered breakfast sandwiches (made to order). The hot sauce was not spicy at all, but the sandwiches were delicious!

Stopped here for a coffee while the rest of my large group waited in the hour long line at Crave. The iced brown butter and sage pumpkin latte was AMAZING I was so pleasantly surprised. It easily falls into one of my top 3 favorite iced lattes. For being the weekend before Halloween, I waited for maybe 15 minutes max from the time I got to order to the time I got my coffee and was gone.

This is a really cute café in the heart of Salem and they offer a variety of drinks and pastries. Our drinks were good, though they were a little on the milky side and lacked a little flavor. However, the staff was super friendly, accommodating, and overall we had a very positive interaction. On another note, their logo as well as their merchandise is very cool looking.

Overall good; close to the Hawthorne Hotel; Food was okay. I ordered the breakfast Boo-rito (such a cute name, lol) There was no line when we arrived early in the morning; it took a while to get our food. In conclusion, okay/good.

For a beverage I ordered their homemade Brown Butter Sage and Pumpkin Latte. Iced with Oat milk (Whole milk would also be a great choice). It was absolutely delicious, they even let me taste a small sample of the syrup beforehand.
For food I got a breakfast burrito . Garlic seasoned ketchup, potatoes, sausage , and eggs. It was a little more expensive at $9 at the time of this review. However if you want a tasty energy fueling breakfast, you can’t go wrong here!
