Wanted to love this place and there were a lot of missteps I can excuse, but the straw that broke the camels back was walking back to the taproom for a nightcap at 8:05 on a Friday night to find they had closed early when all of the signage (including the chalkboard placed in front of the door) said closing was at 9:00.

Nice spot to spend an afternoon, the food we had all tasted great, Mac and Cheese, Pulled Pork Nachos (with potato chips) and the corn bread all washed down with a cold cider. The Nachos were excellent. You can bring your dogs if you want, friendly staff and fresh air. Ice cream with apple dumplings and a Sunday to finish the day with something sweet and some apple cider donuts for the trip back home.

If you haven’t been to the Brew Barn in Phillipston, you are truly missing out. The staff, food and beverages are fantastic. Head on over and enjoy live entertainment while sipping on your favorite beverage. While you’re there, pick your own apples, or head over to the pumpkin patch. If you’re there when blueberries and sunflowers are in season, don’t forget to pick a few blueberries and or sunflowers. Great family fun.
