Casual hub serving a variety of po’ boys, burgers & seafood platters in a lively atmosphere.

I love this place! We haven’t been in years, and it was as good as ever! I got the chicken sandwich with onions, mushroom, and cheese. My husband got a shrimp po-boy, a friend had a cheeseburger, and another got the chicken Philly sandwich. Everything was great. The steamed veggies were perfect with my chicken sandwich. I stole a lot of fries. Everyone was so friendly to us.

I can only eat fresh cut lettuces and in the past quick eating at Brewbachers bc they don’t serve fresh green leaf lettuces (spring mix or spinach) but I was told it was fresh cut daily when my employer ordered for the whole team at work today. Not only could I take one took at it and tell it was not fresh lettuce, it smelled bad, and when I removed the lettuce from the chicken Cesar wrap, this is what I found. I am disgusted and can’t believe they would serve this to anyone, in a wrap or anything at that. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. (I felt bad even letting my coworker eat the other half I hadn’t touched yet.) Even after removing rotten brown lettuce, the few bites of it I did eat has caused me major indigestion. I don’t have a gallbladder and I am sensitive to preservatives and particularly rotten food. I will never eat at another Brewbachers, even if someone else orders and pays, not this one or any other.

I love a good muffaletta and they have a great one here. The olive salad was awesome. Perfect amount of oil. Not too much but enough. Only thing I didnt like was that for $10 plus I only got a half. A muffaletta is a big sandwich but still… besides that it was great.

Brew-Bachers is a staple for one of the best burgers in Baton Rouge, but they also have fantastic sandwiches!

I used to love this place. Grilled chicken croissant for the win EVERYTIME! Not this time, actually, the last 2 times have been complete disappointment. 2 little shriveled up.pieces of bacon. The croissant tasted as if it was microwaved, pushed but burnt. Nothing like it used to be. My wife’s hamburger steak, dry as as can be. The only part of our meal that was close were the onion rings… I think that will be my last time.. sad day.

This is one of my favorite and regular eateries. It has lots of regulars, including kids. Great menu selections from sandwiches to platters. Best French dip ever! Staff are very friendly and usually remember your name. Multiple TVs. No alcohol.

Ordered takeout. Food was okay, but they forgot two side items. When I reviewed the receipt at home, I noticed that they charged $2.04 for “take out supplies fee.” Not only do I not want utensils and ketchup (I have it at home, thank you), they never asked nor notified me is this charge. That’s a poor way to run a business. At minimum you should tell your customers that you charge for these and offer them to opt out. Besides, 3 sets of plastic utensils and 4 ketchup packets cost a business over $2! Ridiculous!

I made a take out order on October 20, and as you can see by the photo, the onion rings were burnt and weren’t a good portion.
I won’t make that mistake again.
One of my favorite places to eat in Baton Rouge! Always good. My favorites are the chicken croissant or the shrimp remoulade salad

I came in on September 25, 2025. Lunch with my coworkers. I got the mushroom burger, onion rings, and had a cheese stick from my coworker(the only thing I ate this day was this meal). I am the only one at my table that got a burger and onion rings and I am now missing work because I’m at home with food poisoning. I don’t think I will ever be back to a Brew-Bachers because this isn’t the first time this has happened at one of their restaurants. I decided to give them another try getting sick from them years ago and it was a bad choice.
