Then I ordered a jalapeño paloma, and it was good. I’d really like to try the chef’s tasting menu so I can give a better review.
This venue is clearly trading on nostalgia from a movie filmed here in 2011, not on delivering a premium bar experience today. Views alone do not excuse sub-par drinks and disengaged service. Luxury pricing demands luxury execution, and this was nowhere near it.
To make matters worse, my friends speaks Thai fluently and attempted to engage with staff in Thai, yet they continued to respond only in English. This came across as dismissive and uncomfortable, and further reinforced the feeling that this venue exists purely to extract money from tourists, not to offer genuine hospitality.
The owner’s response deflects responsibility by referencing venue layouts and listed prices, completely avoiding the core issue: the quality does not match the cost. Transparency does not excuse mediocrity.
Posting this so future guests aren’t misled. This is not a world-class cocktail bar, it’s an overpriced tourist trap riding on an outdated reputation.
Good view and nice band at 64th floor
Recommend to everyone to try this nice restaurant
Staff were attentive, so many flavours, the wagyu was incredible so much taste.
5 star restaurant with a view.
Impress your girlfriend and bring her here. Not as expensive as some think.
They have a couple thousand baht set menu, with wine pairing and excellent dish choices.
Enjoy it is a bucket list experience.
Now, the food at Breeze was good—I’d give it an 8/10—but not mind-blowing. Especially when you consider the eye-watering prices, which clearly ride on the coattails of the whole Hangover fame more than culinary merit. I’ve had better meals at half the price elsewhere in Bangkok, including the Chinese restaurant at The Standard, which was more flavorful and far more reasonably priced.
Structurally, the place needs help. The building is in dire need of maintenance. Just look at the state of the stairs—exposed cables, loose wood, and peeling surfaces (see photos). At this price point, I expect more than a pretty view—I expect basic upkeep. When you’re charging over $100 for a single rooftop cocktail, you could at least afford some paint and secure lighting. It’s not just tacky—it’s unsafe and unacceptable for the premium you’re paying.
Bottom line: Breeze is not Michelin-starred (that’s other Lebua venues), and honestly, it doesn’t live up to the hype. If you’re considering a fine dining rooftop experience in Bangkok, skip this and go to The Standard instead. Better food, better drinks, and a better overall vibe—without the sticker shock or the crumbling steps.
I won’t be returning to Breeze—or any of the restaurants at Lebua.
