We chose a few treats to enjoy at home, and every bite was fresh and delicious. The quality really stands out. Even though we didn’t stay long, it was a lovely experience and definitely the start of many future visits.
Bakery Breeze Cafe is amazing for its finely crafted baked goods and treats as well as for the polite and pleasant staff. The atmosphere here is so friendly and relaxing. I could stay all day. It’s a spa that sells baked items. Really.
Everything was made fresher than I expected. Everything I tried was better than the last.
I ordered a fancy coffee drink and it rivaled the one I get at my favorite Starbucks. It was delicious and nice and hot, as I like it.
Thank you for sharing your shop with me today.
When I first started looking for wedding cakes I mostly focused on specialized wedding cake bakeries. However, I unfortunately didn’t realize how far in advanced they get booked. But then I realized all I really wanted was a fresh fruit cream cake and it really didn’t need to stress me out. Which led us to working with Peter, who was so helpful and very clear in communicating to us all the options and pricing of the cake. We got to try a couple different cakes during our tasting and he had given a lot of wonderful suggestions and we ended up deciding on a fresh yogurt cream and strawberry sponge cake with diced fresh strawberries inbtwn the layers. For a guest count of approx 135, we got a two tier cake along with a sheet cake. Pricing was reasonable and fair.
Peter and the team were very dedicated to making sure our wedding cake was our “dream cake”, down to asking for a color pallet to make sure they created the right blues! The design was a moshposh of inspos, even I didn’t have a clear vision. We didn’t have a dream cake per se but they took what we gave them and made it feel like a dream come true.
Not only did we LOVE the cake but we still have family and friends raving about it too. It had honorable mentions in our guest book and we had some guest hanging out by the cake table for seconds (or fourths but who’s really counting).
I didn’t have a dream cake but I am dreaming about this cake every now and then. I have not had a cake as good as my wedding cake since. I can’t wait for our 1 year anniversary to come around so we can do a personal order of our wedding cake. Until then though, I look forward to trying that coconut pandan cake I spied for my upcoming birthday.
If you’re looking for a stress free customized cake experience, this would be the spot, they have so many flavor options to work with and the quality is great it would be hard to go wrong. And even if it isn’t for a big event, the cakes they typically sell are great too. I get all my work event cakes from Breeze and they’re always a crowd pleasure.
Highly recommend their basil chicken pesto panini, yogurt soft serve and a new favorite is the pandan macaron.
Much thanks to Peter and his team for doing such an amazing job!
The injeolmi snow ice dessert was not great. It tasted like lots of sugar and condensed milk ice. It also was pretty expensive given the size. This is coming from someone who is familiar with bingsoo(shaved ice dessert) and has had it from NYC and Seoul, South Korea.
Their green tea latte was fantastic, and the red bean bread is so good. Overall, I highly recommend this bakery. Definitely obsessed.
The food as a whole is not inexpensive (though they do have less expensive items – while the slice of cake that I chose was around $7, my iced coffee was less than $3), but the prices seemed commensurate with the quality.
I ended up buying a jelly roll to bring home to be a treat with afternoon coffee. Even the pickiest members of my family commented on how good it was, “delicate but flavorful” being the consensus.
