OMG! Now this was the best chicken and waffle I’ve ever had!!! The waffle was slightly sweet with a delicate crunch on the outside and so soft and perfect on the inside. No need for syrup unless you want to! It comes with two pieces of chicken and the four pieces of the fluffy waffle. I had no idea how big the chicken was, so I added and additional piece for $4 extra, which I didn’t need and couldn’t finish. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and again large pieces, crispy on the outside and juicy and tender in the inside!

Amazing experience overall with the food, service, and atmosphere of the restaurant. Crispy fries that were perfectly salted and warm. A HUGE chicken sandwich that included 3 big pieces of juicy chicken tenders, and even a complimentary cup for water that I didn’t ask for. I appreciate that the young lady who was working tonight was tentatively caring of the orders and keeping the dining room stocked and clean. If I lived in Costa Mesa I would come here WEEKLY because of how generously filling and awesome friendly service the entire experience was. Tik Tok led me to you folks and I’m glad I took the chance.

Bred Hot Chicken is by far the best chicken restaurant I’ve been to in a hot minute. I ordered the Chick N’ Waffles with a Strawberry Squeezee & was so impressed with how good everything was separately & together. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful, and the heat is immaculate & the belgian waffle was so fluffy and done perfectly – I’m not embellishing, it’s actually that good lol. Not to be dramatic, but I don’t think I can eat chicken from anywhere else now… I literally just placed another order for tonight’s dinner just before this review, they’re **that** good.

This was our first year ordering for thanksgiving. WOW! The portions for the prize was amazing. The cornbread was the best cornbread I’ve ever tasted! The cream corn was amazing and so was the turkey. Definitely worth the price! I love that I supported a family business, as the staff was amazing. Cool little spot with big flavors. Had the Big O, potato salad, slaw, fries and banana pudding. The Dare spice level was quite a ride, but it was a delicious one that made me teary and sweaty. Everything tasted amazing and it’s a great addition to the chicken sandwich pantheon alongside Pretty Bird (still #1), Chicken Fire, and Howlin’ Ray’s.
One note – the sandwich used tenders, not a thigh or breast like other places. It was still delicious and executed to perfection – that’s just a difference to places like Pretty Bird. It’s definitely worth the drive from anywhere in Orange County for a superior chicken experience.

What a wonderful chicken restaurant. The ladies who were working this evening were very kind and answered all my questions. I believe her name was Laura she even came out to the parking lot and got my attention that my order was ready, she was very nice.
The restaurant is clean and decorated well.
I ordered a little bit of everything to sample and the food was just absolutely wonderful. The big old chicken sandwich is huge I even pulled out one of the pieces of chicken to eat the following day so the picture where you see the half eaten sandwich that’s only with half the chicken that it comes with because it was so much.
The grilled cheese was magnificent and they do not skimp on the cheese .
The millionaire mac & cheese was amazing.
The potato salad was good, regular potato salad not bad at all.
I think the only drawback I noticed was they are a Pepsi shop and not a Coca-Cola shop ha ha.
I give these guys a 10 out of 10 for great attitude, service and food

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It was clean, cool, and the food was pretty good. Upon entering, we ordered on a tablet, and they text you when the order is ready. We ordered the juicy chicken tenders and the sliders. Both entrees were a great portion of food
