Here we tried several steaks and we loved it! The place is itself spacious and clean. Well decorated and gives the vibe. The staff is really friendly and helping. The service is top ! The starters and side dishes are great as well as main courses. There are several alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. It is suitable for dates or business evenings.Recommend!

We set outside but was a little cold. Thankfully there was a blanket and heater. It was very busy night and the service was rather slow & can be a bit more friendly. The atmosphere was lively. It would be good if you visit on a nice summer night.

The Argentine Rib Eye (€44 for 300g) was dry, flavorless, and honestly worse than a supermarket steak I could cook at home.
The side salad had gritty sand in the vegetables—clearly not washed properly.
When ordering, the waiter never asked about the doneness of the steak. I had to stand up and chase them to specify medium-rare after the order was already placed.
Service was minimal and inattentive throughout. The bill included a pre-printed €5 “Trinkgeld” line without mentioning it upfront—I only noticed after asking for the receipt. This felt sneaky, especially for a country where tips are meant to be voluntary.
To top it off, on Christmas Day, as I left the restaurant, three staff members were standing idly at the entrance bar and not one of them said goodbye or even acknowledged me leaving. Quite rude and left a sour taste after an already underwhelming meal.
Nice riverside location, but the food, service, and overall experience do not justify the prices. Won’t be returning.

After a Spree river cruise, we stopped here for drinks and absolutely loved it. The menu, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn’t stay for a main course, but I can highly recommend the appetizers. A special thanks to our waiter, Georg.

Exquisite steak house, it is located next to the river in Mitte Berlin, the restaurant window has a display of different aged meats that are mouth watering, I had the dry aged Argentina steak which was delicious. There are a couple of vegetarian dishes but really this is a meat lover’s paradise. My steak was delicious and the chunky chips were perfect, great wine selection to accompany your dish too. The outside area over looks the river and at night can get chilly but everyone has a blanket on the back of the seat to keep warm if needed. There’s a large seating are inside the restaurant as well as outside so something for everyone. It’s a very romantic atmosphere and a great place to go on a date, the prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of food and drinks that are served. I highly recommend Brechts Steakhaus to anyone looking for a tasty evening with brilliant friendly atmosphere. @Brechtssteakhaus

Brechts Steakhaus is a super place for a steak. We chose the trilogy of steaks which are all cooked to personal preference, then brought to the table for carving. There is some theater to this. Each cut of meat is sliced just once so that your waiter can present to you how well the meat has been cooked. Your nod of approval is required before carving continues. All rather nicely done.
Cocktails were super and the restaurant itself has charm. There’s a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is right on the river.
