Brea’s best has been one of my favorite burger restaurants since they opened. I have lived in Brea for 55 years and I can’t remember when they opened.

Brea’s Best Burgers truly lives up to its name – it’s the best burger I’ve ever had. I remember trying a burger there for the first time in 2002, and I was amazed at how delicious a burger could be. Since then, whenever someone asks me for a recommendation for a great burger place, I always suggest Brea’s Best Burgers. Everyone I’ve recommended it to has become a regular customer. I usually order the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and onion rings, and I highly recommend it!

The bacon double cheeseburger was insane. Real simple yet so impressive Big real slices of tomatoes and big leaves of lettuce really set the burger off. Don’t even live remotely close to this place but will need to come back soon. OH and the fries were the best I’ve have in a while. Perfect fried crunch in every single one. Mouth watering just thinking back.

I’ve lived in Brea for over 15 years so I have gone to Brea’s Best many times over the years. I’d say the quality of the food is not the same. Their burger was bland, without even salt and pepper. Ketchup and mustard couldn’t help it. It tastes like frozen burger patties that are overcooked. Not juicy at all. Their beef hotdog wasn’t very juicy and was bland as well. Maybe if they added it to the grill top?! For both, a little overpriced. Their breakfast burritos are pretty good. I wish they gave more salsa.

The dining area is decorated in a 50’s theme. The customer service could be friendlier.

Brea’s Best has been a staple of Brea for years and years and years. The food has always been good. Unfortunately they got rid of their French dip sandwich and it was really good also and that was my favorite.

I have been there twice. I heard good things about it. But my experience of other customer service is pretty poor. The first time I went there in September 2025, the employees never said a word to me not thank you not please come again not anything I ordered online when I came to pick up my order they grab the box through it at me on the counter and turned and walked away. The second time it was the same employee on October 9th 2025, I put my order in online and came in. When I went to the front I said I had an order for myself they did not respond but turned around and grab the box that was on the table behind them and threw it on the counter in front of me without a word. I asked her if she included the blue cheese dressing that I ordered she did not respond but looked at the employee next to her and the employee said yeah. Neither of them smiled the entire time. It was not busy as there was only one other customer in the place. I got home and I did not have blue cheese in the box. But they did give me ranch. The food is pretty good but the customer service is pretty lousy. Customer service means a lot and I will not be going there again.

I remember going here a ton as a kid and when visiting from out of state my friends had told me that ownership had changed and its different now. I still wanted to give it a chance and, I still dream about the zuchini fries when I leave CA. When I walked in I realized they altered the inside to a bizzare color scheme that for some reason gave me Pennywise vibes. The amount of food you receive for the sweet potato fries and zuchini fries was borderline robbery for the price. I was sad to leave knowing the Brea’s Best I knew growing up was gone.

Always loved this place until today.
Ordered patti melt combo.
It came much latern than people who ordered after me and I don’t know what they did with patti melt but it was cold, patti tasting weird, and no caramelized onions as usual. They made me a new one for me but still not the same patti melt I eat every other week. It was exactly like the first one they made for me. I don’t know if the cook is changed and the cook doesn’t know how to make patti melt. Look at the picture.

I would have given them 4 stars but I was not given 1 fries I ordered and the burger I requested with no pickles had pickles on it. Burger tastes good for a well done charred burger, definitely quality toppings. The fries were fantastic. Price was OK. under $10 for a bacon avocado burger. kids meals with fries and drink for $8.99.
