Amazing view!! Could be such a better experience. Patio was dirty from looking up at the covering to the same trash I saw on the concrete last week!? Maybe very young staff could be cleaning when there’s nothing to do? They were very nervous but pleasant and trying at least.
The fish tacos were ok but this Philly cheesesteak?! Overcooked and I’ve never had one so lacking. And side salad.maybe add a few carrots strips or a tomato to dress it up or something! Not that hard or expensive to do. The Pina colada was yellow not white??And tasted like pineapple juice with a little rum poured on top. The DJ inside was so loud no one can talk to each other. Felt sorry for the older folks I saw eating in there.
I really don’t like leaving negative reviews it sucks.
It’s just very sad overall to see what potential it has and how it doesn’t make me want to ever go back. Would have gone to the restaurant upstairs but had tank top and flip flops on so didn’t think we would be welcomed. Sorry but had to be honest.
Hope it improves for the communities sake
It was a great day ….Went fishing at several spots and had fun on the Harris Tritoon
You can also get to Breakwater Grille and the Waldon Community ClubHouse/Pool by using the land route at the end of Melville Drive
Happy Hour is 2 to 4 pm…
I am posting the revised Menu with some of the specials. They have lots going on weekly this fall
First – the bartender (Roman) was absolutely oblivious to what there was to offer for drinks or food. We were the only patrons at the bar and he was completely confused as how to keep orders for 3 people straight. The next bartender who was very pleasant was so furious that he left her with a mess and didn’t stock her for the PM business.
We ordered food and drinks with Roman and he quickly took our money with gratuities and left his shift leaving, which in turn left us for 40 minutes to wonder where our food was. While sitting at the bar I noticed packaged food sitting at a hand off plane/table and I commented “I bet that’s our food” Roman who was one foot out the door said he had enter the ticket in.. Me: “what? Doesn’t that happen once we place our order and take our money?”
Anywho, the young girl at the table with the packaged food was too scared to say whether it belonged to us or not. My sister then asked for a refund due to a ridiculous wait time for the food and the young girl said she had to talk to “Red”
Once he finally made his appearance- he said to the young girl (unbeknownst to him, my aunt was near the table and heard him) “this must be for the loaders” insinuating that since she asked for a refund she was wanting something for free. Rather than taking a professional/managerial approach he immediately told her “you’re not getting a refund” No time for her to even speak – he had decided his stance before even listening to her concerns for her terrible experience or the fact that the food at the point had been sitting for 40! Minutes! He placed his hand on the packaged food and said “it’s still hot” which was not true – keep in mind it has been sitting for 40 minutes. I understand this is just a pool bar, nothing fancy, at best fare food, but the customer service was absolutely horrendous and dare I say tied to our race. He mentioned being in role 4 months which tells me there is a huge learning gap. Please teach “Red” it’s not a good look to be a racist for people who have spent many memorable occasions and lots of money over the years of living in the area.
