Stopped in here first time for a sandwich. Tuna melt was made while we waited. Lots of antiques and collectibles for sale. Nice quirky eating area. In the old Ewig fishery building.

Having grown up in Port in the 80s and 90s, of course I was curious to see what had happened to Ewig’s. Therefore, I tried out this deli.
The staff is friendly, the atmosphere nostalgic, and the sandwiches pretty tasty. Just know, that it’s quite pricey for what you get.

I had the Cuban sandwich with my choice of chips and it was amazing. The choice of cold salads, chips and drinks are awesome such a great variety. And they have a small variety of grocery items. The antiques and cool things in the shop and around the property are pretty cool, takes you back. Wonderful place & owners, had great conversation with them. Can’t wait to see it in the summer, it’s so close to the lake (walking distance).

Delicious! We stopped here on our way up north and we are glad we did. I had a grown up grilled cheese with a side pasta salad and my husband had a club sandwich. Both were made fresh with high quality ingredients— and I especially loved the pasta salad.

This deli is great! Been here quite a few times and have not had a bad sandwich yet! Lots of options, and the rotating daily specials are always good. Lots of side salad options as well when you make your sandwich a meal deal. If you haven’t yet, stop in and give it a try!

Ordered delivery today. Food was not edible. Was pretty disappointed cause I was excited to try some awesome sandwiches. Ordered the blt with extra bacon. It was burnt and tasted only of char. Seemed over done but somehow still chewy. Had to throw it away. The Cuban sandwich was ok. Meat was incredibly dry. Had to doctor it up with some mayo.
Coleslaw was disgusting. Beans were good, I’ll give them that. Waste of almost $50.

Don’t believe the haters; this place is legit! I’ve been going here multiple times per week since it opened (I appreciate the convenience of good places to grab breakfast/lunch) and I haven’t had a bad meal once. The walleye sandwiches on Fridays are addictive, and the Cuban is fantastic as is the corn beef hash for breakfast.

I, too, am connected to PW and went down ‘memory lane’ of former Ewig’s. Staff very friendly and my “Triple Protein Sandwich” was good; however – the meat portion was situated prominently in the center and on seeing the 1/2 cut sandwich – it looked like a really Generous portion!! As I munched through it though, there wasn’t any meat on the margins – just lettuce and ‘sauce’. I understand the business model, but I did feel ‘duped’. I will return – but request that the meat is equally distributed. I DO support local establishments! But Please! ~ if this is/was an intentional practice ~ reconsider. Thank you!

I happened to stop in here with a friend, we came over to Port Washington to the beach. We stopped in here on a fluke and it was the best happy accidental fluke! Food was delicious and the guys working were great! Highly recommend!
