Very disappointed! After scrolling through sandwich shops for a Sunday drive I decided to check out this place because of the pictures of the sandwiches were really impressive. Artisan crusty bread looked very enticing, but reality set in after the first bite. Not to be extreme, but it tasted like it came from Dollar General across the street. Obviously it was not, as it did take considerable time to make this travesty possible. It was a beautiful drive to get to, but I recommend packing a lunch from home!

Sandwiches were prepared quickly and absolutely delicious! It was hard to choose, there were some many tempting options. The bread is quality, and the cookie brownie was amazing. I highly recommend giving this new local business a try!

Was doing some yard sale, farmers market and church sales. Stopped into Break’n Bread shoppe for lunch, sandwichs were delicious. There breakfast and bagel options I’ll have to make a trip next time.

What a gem of a sandwich shop Break’n Bread is! I wasn’t expecting such delicious and elevated sandwich options from this little shop. But from the second I walked in, you can tell from its charming decor, welcoming staff, and incredible menu that it is a special place. And the food did not disappoint – the sandwiches are more delicious than they sound! Everything is made with fresh bread and homemade ingredients. I had the Tony and it was incredible, especially the homemade bacon ham on it! The sandwiches are large so I only ate half in the shop, and planned to take the other half home. But that half never made it back to NYC because I hate it in the car on my drive – it was too delicious to wait! The homemade sweet treats are also incredible – I tried the lemon bar and the chocolate chip cookie and they were both so tasty. I could not recommend Break’n Bread enough – everyone in the area or driving through needs to stop by and give it a try!!

Small but really good sandwiches. I had the Papa Pastrami and wife got the Tony. Both were excellent.

I absolutely LOVE Break n’ Bread! I’ve been there several times and every time is better than the last. The Godfather is a favorite but I also love the fresh baked desserts! The quality of their ingredients makes it among one of the best lunch spots around. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is quaint and cute – all the right pieces for a quintessential CT experience. Can’t wait to go back!
