This place is amazing. Everything is delicious. Servers are great and food comes out quickly and hot. Great portions. Last time I got there at about 6:15 and by 6:30 about seven tables were taken. It’s my favorite breakfast place in Denver! Now, about 2 months later… My first disappointment here. Food was good but started out slightly warm to cool real fast. My server today was extremely unfocused. After she brought my food I had to wait a few minutes for condiments and then after she dropped my check had to wait quite a while for her to come back because she was too busy eating at the counter. I was there a little after 7am today(Sunday) and there were only about 5 customers there. Suggestion to owner: hot plates and customer attention comes first.

I’ve always loved breakfast diners, and this one quickly became a favorite. The country skillet was outstanding easily one of the best dishes I’ve had. I’m certain the rest of the menu is just as impressive. We’ll definitely be returning to try more and enjoy the great atmosphere

When the downtown diner is full, you know it’s probably a good place. Breakfast Queen was quite full — we had about a 15-20 minute wait — but it was more than worth it.
FOOD: Decent coffee. Menu had a bit of every classic breakfast dish — eggs and meat, omelets, skillets, burritos, benedicts, tater tot bowls, battered brekkies — as well as an array of burgers, sandwiches, salads. I had a Spanish skillet which was well-made, though the jalapenos made it a little one-note. My wife had the corn beef hash, which looks to have been made in layers on the plate and was very, very good.
SERVICE: Despite the full house, service was snappy and pleasant. We felt neither pushed nor neglected.
AMBIANCE: Serious diner vibes — and not ironically chosen retro, but “yeah, this is a diner and would have looked this way if you’d visited in 1954.” Noisy (but not deafening), bustling (but not overcrowded). The customers were of all ages, from families with small kids to seniors to teen-twenties in hoodies and tattoos. That’s another sign of a good place.
TIP: Huge free public parking lot behind its Broadway-facing location. Makes the downtown Englewood place a lot more accessible.
NET-NET: I loved it. I’d go back here any number of future times, if only to try some of the other dishes.

Absolutely amazing place. The vibe is amazing, the staff are super friendly, and the food was delicious. I had the hashinator and the stack of pancakes.
When getting here you want to enter through the backside of the restaurant as that’s where the hosts stand is as well as the waiting area. They turn tables over quickly so you won’t be waiting long.

Busy diner atmosphere. This place felt alive and I liked that about getting seated at the counter with a coworker to have breakfast and have a chat. Every table was full of people, food, and good conversation. Coffee was hot, fresh, and kept full the entire visit. The severs were polite and attentive, even calling out the usual orders of regulars who were seated near me. Someone who I think was the owner or manager was even helping keep things clean and moving alone nicely. My food came out incredibly fast. I got the NY Steak Skillet and left satisfied. Definitely a place to repeat.

This is such a wonderful and homey diner. The staff are amazing and always on top of it. I never leave disappointed, and they consistently serve delicious omelettes and potatoes. The only downfall would be lack of gluten free options. If they made gluten free pancakes that would be a game changer.

Great local diner, quick seating & service. I substituted green chili for the hollandaise on my Veggie Benedict & loved it. An English muffin on the side, though, set me back $4.50. Ouch!!

Local gem! Comfort food. The place is busy but the vibe makes you feel like you are eating with family. Wait staff is super nice and relaxed. Excellent value for your money. American breakfast with many Mexican style options as well.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Englewood! The people are great and friendly! They let you bring your dog into the restaurant (as long as it is well behaved)! Everyone is so helpful! They have decent prices (it is not overly expensive….about $14.00 average per person)! The restaurant is clean and inviting! I try to come here as often as possible! So if you are in the Englewood area on South Broadway I highly recommend you stop in for a plate and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere that the Breakfast Queen provides! And they are about as close to a historical marker in Englewood as you can get!

What an unexpected surprise to find this diner!! We had to wait for a table so we knew the food was going to be good and it was. The portions were LARGE so we had a second meal, paying for one. Kelly, our server was FANTASTIC. Next time we are in town, we will return to this awesome breakfast/brunch restaurant!!
