I cannot speak more highly of the team at the Uptown Breakfast House. We have been visiting since they opened, and have gotten to know every single team member. We are always greeted by Marianna the hostess who offers exceptional care and is a shining light. Just like Marianna, the servers are always hardworking, caring, sweet, and make you feel right at home. The service is always amazing, and the food is always so delicious. We are proud to live by and support one of the best diners in Chicago, and probably the best breakfast house of all their locations! ❤️

This is my go to brunch spot in Uptown. I’ve eaten here a few dozen times, and my experience has always been great. Delish egg dishes (I haven’t tried anything else), sunny and comfortable dining room with fresh flowers on every table, and quick and friendly service. Every time!

We had an absolutely lovely experience at this establishment! We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. After being given menues we had a good amount of time to think about our orders. The waiters were kind and considerate and frequently checked on us! My son loved it and begged for seconds. Overall an amazing experienced!

Quaint, cozy, and classy all at once. The scrambled eggs are cooked perfectly. The hash browns are savory, the pancakes fluffy, and the sausage maple-y. The drinks have a good kick to them, too! Make sure you go on a long walk after you fill up here!

Visited this place with coworkers, service was great, our waiter was very nice and tried to bring our food out at the same time. The salad that I had was fresh and grilled chicken tasted good, the only thing I wasn’t fond of, is the salad dressing. It had mint flavour, and didn’t go well with the salad at all. I ate my salad without the dressing.

Now my-go to brunch breakfast spot. The Chorizo Hash and Dieguito Benedict are superb and hardy. Sometimes I have the corn cake with ham if I want something light but still a fantastic take on a classic breakfast. The Mezcalini cocktail is refreshing. 3 of us went. The french toast was apparantly good but the food me and the other person ordered was very bland. The potatoes seems like they could have been good if they were cooked all they way. Regardless of how the food tasted the roaches on the other had were awful. They were crawling on the wall right beside where we were sitting. They were on the wall and on top of the pictures hanging on the wall. They seemed to be everywhere and this was during broad daylight I wonder how bad of an infestation this place truly has.

Had the pleasure of visiting this brand new location today (and first time having Breakfast House). Very clean and new, obviously, and the staff were very friendly. The manager came over and introduced himself and welcomed us, recommending beverages and letting us know more options were coming soon.
I ordered the chilaquiles without guac and sour cream and it was delicious. This is one of my favorite dishes to order when trying a new breakfast place that offers it, and this may be the best I’ve had so far.
The presentation of all the dishes I saw while there were beautifully done and very photogenic (as you can tell from the picture I’ve included). Will definitely return as a nearby resident and so excited to have a new breakfast option!
