We lived in Lockhart and went to the Cafe on obt near John young and we went there for years, we moved to Apopka and it was a bit of a drive so we Tried Robinson’s, the egg cafe one , dennys , Perkins, ihop and like 3 more places . My husband is picky about his breakfast potatoes. I we pick up our blind father inlaw and go every Saturday to breakfast. We are a 1 income household and we looked for a place that has good food but for a decent price.. I don’t want to say cheap because nothing is cheap anymore. But we found breakfast barn and it’s Great !
It’s better than the cafe we went to. We really like it. My husband and father now order breakfast and I order lunch sandwich.
They food is good and the price is what we were looking for . Can’t go to Perkins … it’s way too much $$$$$. The breakfast barn .. it was me , husband , father n law and 2 teenagers ate for 55.00 , everyone had coffee and a soft drink , each had a full meal and it was 55 bucks that was Great ! So it is a great place to get good home cooking food for a decent price. I know that’s important to a lot of families because at Perkins just 3 of us was 52.00 .
I like to tell families because we all enjoy taking the family out once in a while and with kids price is everything!!!
Food was good , freshly cooked and if ever an issue they fix it right away .
Our server is / mostly always Brandy and she is just a hoot.. lol. She is a fun waitress, chats with you and she is funny .. very personable.
It’s family owned and the lady who owns it is always there working and she makes sure your food / service/ experience is good .
It’s like a hidden gem , you wouldn’t know about it unless you drive by or someone told you.
Always have friendly atmosphere and good food and good service.
A lot of places to eat at in Apopka but if your on a budget or not and you want good home cooking food and don’t want to cook your self lol and good service… I would definitely recommend going to the Breakfast Barn Country Kitchen.

I get having a family it’s expensive going to eat but this place has good food and it’s affordable.

Everything was great. Biscuits and gravy, country fried steak, the sausage, everything. The only thing I didn’t try was the pancakes, but one can only eat so much. Wonderful hash browns. I’d gladly go back. Thanks for the great meal!

Came all the way from Orlando, to enjoy a nice breakfast and omg the biscuits n gravy was worth the trip….. Best I’ve had in a long time. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Heck everything was just amazing!!!!! Will be coming back.

Visited here during the week while visiting Apopka wildlife reserve. Food was delicious and fairly priced, staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend. We ate the night before in the Disney grand Floridian 5* and the burgers and food here were a million times better than there

Not fancy, not “modern”. But I loved it. Food was great service was friendly and prompt! I Loved the bacon breakfast burrito. My father in law never gets to have fried bologna,and he loved that. My wife’s party melt was delicious, and she loves the barn sauce. Will definitely be back!

I visited with some old friends today. We were greeted with friendly service and smiles. The establishment is newer interior and clean. The food came out quick and fresh. I ordered the cinnaroll French toast and sausage gravy and biscuits. My friend got the BLT minus the lettuce with a side of fries. We enjoyed the food! It was hot and tasty. The flavors were great. The biscuits were perfect. Love the sausage gravy! The drinks are cold and food is hot.

Great little local breakfast spot! Came in for breakfast and felt like I left with friends. Food was excellent (had biscuits and gravy) and service was prompt. The manager Tonya was friendly and spoke to all of the guests as if they were her close friends. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

This was our first time here. It is very clean and the decor is very cute. Lots of little breakfast signs and cute chickens etc. The waitresses were lovely. Very nice and checked regularly to see if there was anything we needed. Our waitress Josie was very sweet. The coffee was good, not bitter at all. I had a cheese onion and ham omelette which was big and had a lot of filling. The grits were very good. They gave us a sample of the strawberry waffle. The waffle was crunchy without being burnt and was fluffy inside. It was good and I might get that the next time we come.
