I recently visited Breakfast at Barney’s, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious the chicken and waffles were phenomenal, with the wings perfectly seasoned, and the chicken Philly sandwich was equally fantastic. The truffle fries were amazing, and the peach basil drink was the perfect combination. The peach cobbler was on point not too sweet, but just right.
Additionally, the staff was wonderful everyone, from the waitstaff to the bussers, was incredibly kind and attentive. Our waitress, Diamond, was absolutely the best, making our visit even more enjoyable. The manager and the whole team truly made us feel welcome.
Breakfast at Barney’s is definitely a must go spot. It’s clear why they’ve been around for years they truly have the best cooks and an amazing atmosphere.

I unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. The food was just okay. I ordered the veggie omelette with creamy grits and a side of French toast. The grits were very lumpy and didn’t taste fresh—it seemed like they were scraped from the bottom of the pot. The French toast was mushy in the center.
I asked the server if my food could be taken back, but we were told there are no take-backs. She mentioned that the manager would come out to take a look at the grits, but no one ever came. The only time the server checked on us was when we waved her over. I understand it was her first day in training, so she was still learning. However, management or the supporting server could have stepped in to make sure everything was okay. The only interaction we had with the other server was when she brought us the check.
Unfortunately, the portions and overall experience left us still hungry. We actually ended up stopping at McDonald’s on the way home because my friend was still hungry, which added to the disappointment.
It was especially disheartening because my friend was treating me to a birthday brunch. We were really excited to visit and support this Black-owned restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience fell short.
I genuinely pray this establishment grows in its weak areas so it can continue to thrive and succeed.

This was my first time going. My date had offered to take me here. This was such an amazing place. The ambience was so pretty so green. I loved it as well as the drinks were amazing. love them love them. The food chef kiss the grits is a must have that was my favorite out of everything truthfully, the eggs needed to be a little bit more seasoned but the salmon croquette was amazing within itself so that and the grits helped make my rating go back up.

We had reservations so we were seated pretty urgently.
We were taken to our seats where it was very crowded and cramped so much that we were bumping into guest getting to our seat.
We were seated then ordered drinks and appetizers with our waiter
which didn’t take long to come out.
After drinks and appetizers we put our food order in and we waited a long time to get our food but figured bc of how busy and wanting fresh food that waiting wasn’t a problem and the food will be worth the wait so we were cool about it no problem. WRONG !!!!
The food was salty and tasted like it was just reheated and served to us. Not too mention I had on a hair scarf that could’ve been for religious purposes & was told to take it off
When ppl had hats on. Both skully hats and fitted caps
Waiter had an attitude
Even went back and fourth about what we ordered and what she brought to the table
The tip is deducted automatically so maybe that’s why why she behaved like that
Like she didn’t care bc either way she was getting a tip
If you’re hungry don’t waste your time coming here
The steak here is only made one way well done when
Everyone knows steak should be medium
I was in town for the onemusic fest & everyone recommended this place
Trust me you ain’t missing anything by not coming !!

Had a lovely Saturday brunch with friends at Breakfastat Barney’s. The choices on the menu definitely present a dilemma. Too many amazing options! I chose the salmon croquettes with eggs and potatoes. There were pickled onions on the croquettes, which I love. It was VERY good. I scarfed down every morsel. The Bloody Mary was excellent! It has a shrimp, Turkey bacon, tomatoes, and an entire dill pickle spear. That’s what I’m talking about! I adore a Bloody Mary that is basically an appetizer. The service was great! It’s a really lovely place. We sat in the Rich Life Room. I think it might be a menu with additional selections. We had such a beautiful booth with tall, dark green velvet seats. So inviting! I want to go back and try other things!

I’ve been to Barney’s about four times between 2021–2022, and every visit back then was a top-tier experience. The food was good, portions were generous, and the overall vibe made it worth coming back.
Unfortunately, today was a completely different experience. The customer service wasn’t great, and the food portions were shockingly small. I was literally served half a piece of toast like, seriously? It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be so solid go downhill like this.

I’ve ordered from this place multiple times in person and online and whenever i order online they forget something. I shouldn’t have to pay $13 for 3 chicken wings and still don’t receive my wings. I also shouldn’t be missing toast from an omelette i paid $20 for. If you all don’t want to serve the food you sell don’t offer it but don’t make me pay for something and each time you leave it out of my order. I called 4 times and no one answered the one time they did they hung up in my face that’s unacceptable. Today is my girlfriend’s birthday and she was excited for the meal but w. everything that was wrong w. it we should’ve just ordered the IHOP. I hate leaving bad reviews about places especially black businesses but at a certain point someone has to be held accountable and you all aren’t doing us good service charging the prices you do without giving the product or best service.

The only reason I went here was because Toast on Lennox isn’t open on Mondays and I saw this place had a 4.1 star rating. I have NO idea how they got a 4 star rating because ABSOLUTELY NOT! I came here on a Monday morning around 10a, there was maybe 5 people eating in the restaurant so not busy at all. I sat down and immediately ordered The Emperor’s breakfast and a glass of orange juice. The food literally came out 5 mins later. The eggs were disgusting and warm(not HOT) meaning they weren’t freshly cooked. The sausage cold and tasted like they were microwaved. The only thing that was edible were the grits & even then I’ve had much better grits in Atlanta! I couldn’t even finish the meal because it was nasty so I ordered the plain French toast. . .another LUKEWARM dish that came out in 5 mins! Also disgusting! Took two bites and couldn’t do it anyway. Ordered another glass of orange juice, (because that was the best thing I had during my time) paid for my meal & left, starving! The only picture I have is when I stopped eating my breakfast, forgot to take one before I attempted to eat. However I will say my waitress was very nice and attentive!

Breakfast at Barney’s was absolutely amazing! My daughters made a 10 AM reservation to surprise me so we could spend some time together. They know I’m a foodie and love trying cuisines that I don’t have to cook myself—and this place did not disappoint.
From the very first bite, I was hooked. Honestly, when I put my fork to my mouth, I didn’t even want to swallow because I didn’t want the flavor to end. The food was truly mouthwatering—and when I say mouthwatering, I mean exactly that.
We started with ginger shots and fresh fruit drinks that tasted incredibly refreshing and natural. You could tell everything was freshly prepared, from the eggs to the meats—every ingredient tasted high quality.
For appetizers we had the fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs topped with shrimp. Let me tell you… those deviled eggs were to die for. They were so good they could have been a full meal by themselves—and the best part was the main dishes were still coming!
I ordered the lamb chop with eggs and grits, and those grits were unbelievably good. They had this creamy richness with what tasted like just a hint of sour cream. It was so satisfying—I truly savored every flavorful moment.
Then came the lobster mac & cheese. Oh my goodness. The lobster pieces were HUGE! It literally took all three of us to finish it. It was rich, cheesy, and absolutely loaded with lobster.
This breakfast experience was unforgettable. Great food, fresh ingredients, and beautiful time spent with my daughters. I will definitely be back again… and again… and again!

I’ve been coming to Breakfast at Barney’s for the past 4 years. The reason for driving the 30 miles each way was because of the service and great food. After today, I will never come back! I always order the Steak and eggs Breakfast with never any problem. I always order my steak cooked medium with eggs scrambled with cheese. When the server asked me what I wanted to order, I ordered the same thing I always order. I requested for the steak to be cooked medium. The server told me that the steaks are all cooked the same which was fully done. I asked why I can’t get what I usually order and her reply was that they changed to only cooking steaks fully done. I tried to eat the steak when I got it but it was not edible to my liking due to being tough from being overcooked! I asked to speak to manager Emily about my horrible experience to no avail. She was rude and disrespectful! I asked the question of if you went to a steakhouse for a steak and not receive what you spent your hard earned money on, how would you feel?? Her response was, “This is not a steakhouse.” Very classy and professional answer for a paying guest! I will never spend another dollar there since that’s how we as paying guests are being treated! I don’t recommend ordering this unless you like chewing on tough leather steak!
