Just good, simply breakfast. Coffee was good too. Clean, priced right. The staff as surely as they are just want to do their job. No chit chat here. Go to the order at thre counter find a seat millennial place nearby if you want drama with your breakfast. This was just good! Even though it wasn’t Butter this “SPREAD” worked.

A classic styled diner complete with a quick service bar and comfortable table top seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful and my food was ready quickly. I enjoyed the Ham Skillet, a hardy combination of hash browns, eggs and ham. This place is perfect option for a stick to your ribs style breakfast to get your morning started right. The coffee was pretty good as well.

Old fashioned diner. Great traditional 1960’s sloppy diner food. Stopped in for lunch. Hardly anyone in place, but service was good and good was what I expected.

I ordered food to go and had the worst experience. The waitress was super short and rude. I asked why my order came out to $13.99 when the original amount before tax was $10.49. The waitress said it was $10.99, plus a 10% service charge for take-out orders and tax. The menu listed $10.49 but apparently there was a discrepancy which was not a big deal. The issue came when the waitress made the statement of “that’s how we make our money” as I was walking out of the door. That was VERY rude and unnecessary to say to a paying customer. I walked back in and returned my food because I refuse to patronize a business that treats customers any way. I was livid! This was not my first time at this establishment and I thought the waiter was short and lacked customer service skills but I swept it under the rug, this time I could not ignore her nasty attitude because of the rude comment. I will never come back to this diner!

A great little place! We met the chef – who talked to our kids and our table and took the time to say hello! My kids are 1 & 2 and ALL BOY – and they were nothing short of crazy while we were there – the staff was excellent and dealt with them running around and screaming (much to our annoyance & constant STOP YELLING!) – excellent food and atmosphere! Will definitely be going back!

Great find, a diner right in the middle of Clayton. Had a very good patty melt and fries. Quick and friendly service. Looked like they had a great bfast menu, may have to try that next. Need to go more than once before I can give a diner a 5 star, but I was impressed.

In town for a little vacation and went looking for a breakfast place that doesn’t have a chain like IHOP or Denny’s. Chose here and was not disappointed. Quaint spot with very little advertising but huge in taste and flavors. Went with my significant other who has a gluten allergy and the chef and staff were very quick and courteous to meet our accomendations, so much so that the chef came out to reassure us he broke the eggs to her omelette, not using the fake eggs.

Very basic but great tasting diner food. Almost never a wait, friendly staff. I go there for breakfast all the time when I just need good decent priced breakfast food but don’t want to be to fancy, then this is the place for you!

Break N Egg is a comfortable breakfast diner, with all the traditional breakfast offerings (pancakes, omlettes, etc). My go-to spot for a quick early morning meal. The service is friendly and quick – you won’t be waiting more than 15-20 minutes to have your food in front of you. The food is delicious with a home-cooked feel. I heartily recommend stopping by.

Everything was ok. The setting is super cozy and the type of place I would love to frequent. Hashbrowns were overcooked, and the pancakes I had were just ok. They would have received a better score if it wasn’t for the prices. I dont mind a mediocre breakfast, if the price is right, but I ended up paying $17 for just one person after tip. Remind me to stay way from the high rent districts in the future.
