Went to Bread & Vine for the soft opening. It’s a cute, well thought-out space with nice and comfy furnishings. The food was so good and plated well; I had the veggie focaccia sandwich, fries with truffle oil and Parmesan, and a pain au chocolat. Grace, who served me, was so friendly and polite enough to let me switch my entree when I didn’t realize the Parma was not vegetarian.

The restaurant has both sit-down dining and take-out food options with plenty of delicious looking desserts. The music was tasteful without being too loud, even when seated directly under a speaker. I will do my best to come here again soon. Highly recommend checking out, especially for a small group of 2-4 people.

I went there tonight on a date with my girlfriend and everything was top notch. From the cocktails to the main course (we shared a prociutto pinsa and a Greek cheese steak sandwich), and especially the dessert (beignets with Bavarian cream), everything was delicious. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

The lobster bisque had tender bites of lobster. The croque monsieur was flavorful and was reminiscing of visits to Paris. The cappuccino was smooth in taste from Malongo French roasted organic free trade coffee. I would definitely go again.

Only reason for not giving atmosphere 5 stars is that it’s not a place I would bring my husband… . Very much a breakfast lunch brunch type of decor…IMO. Went with a friend to check out at dinner time on a Wednesday and they were quite busy with only one server/bartender and one cook. They’re still in the figuring it out stage I felt. That being said our “server/bartender” was Luke and I can’t say enough about his knowledge of the food AND how to “concoct” a “mild on the liqour” drink for me❣️. He nailed it with something I couldn’t make at home but not a strong martini type drink! (Although it was very hard to pass up many of the special ones listed!). My dinner partner is huge on good salads and did say the pears on her goat cheese pear “confit” something did not measure up to her expectations of a firm but sweet pear. Might just be the season? She also was “afraid” of the blue cheese on the very unique bruschetta we ordered. It is mixed with Gorgonzola cheese and went amazingly well with the rest of the ingredients ❤️. We both liked and would order again❣️. I ordered the goat cheese “flatbread” (because I can’t remember the French name they used…lol) and ham drizzled with honey which was delicious . Personally I would love the same with bacon instead of little chunks of ham…. ‍♀️.
Will go back ….soon but for a lunch date or coffee and bakery items! So want to try the almond croissants . We did share a dessert that was phenomenal….but was not the “sponge cake” with lemon curd I was expecting. Comes in a glass vessel and not a “shareable” portion. But yes, I would pay the price and have again .
One last note is I thought we must have really lucked out getting Luke as our server❣️ . But every review I’ve read mentions a different named server…with ALL positive comments . Kudos to management ❣️. And also to the cook who did a great job on everything that we saw come out of the kitchen!
(Don’t let one sour review scare you off! Just know what I said about my spouse who is the type who would probably be turned off by the brightness and comfort of the small tables and “bistro” atmosphere* ‍♀️)

There were so many excellent choices it was hard to choose! We had the pizza, shrimp tacos, salmon pear salad and the BEST macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had. Several drink options, pastries and vibe was chill. Staff was personable, attentive and friendly. I’ll be back!!

Bred and vine has been on my list since i found out about them. Coming from a born and raised French girl, this place is legit. Chocolat croissant had the buttery and soft crust that you’d find at a boulangerie. We also had the Moroccan sandwich which was great- we travel far and wide in the city to buy merguez. Rarely will you find a “French cafe” selling anything with merguez so i knew the place was authentic. Anyways, can’t wait to be back!!!

Went for lunch on a weekday. It was lively, but not too busy. The burger was tasty and a fair portion. My wife had the veggie pizza/flatbread, which was good as well. My wife had food restrictions, and our server Grace was super helpful in letting her know what dishes were safe for her to try. We forgot to bring activities for our toddler, but Grace took care of that too with crayons and some paper to keep him busy. It was a good experience, and I’d definitely go back to try some other dishes. Grace is an excellent and friendly server!

We went on a soft opening day and everyone was so friendly. The service was great as well as the food. We didn’t get a chance to try the baked goods because we were stuffed. We will definitely come back.

I have been to Bread and Vine a few times now and it has been a delight with something new to try every time. The lobster bisque was delicious and chalk full of lobster, the tuna poke bowl was wonderful and tasted very fresh, and the drink menu is unique as well as plentiful. My waitress Kara was very helpful in guiding me to a drink that suited my taste and very fun to talk to. The only challenge was desert as I had a hard time picking just one! The manager Michelle stops by all the tables and was very kind and pointed us to the bread pudding, which partner would be coming back for everyday if she could. Over all, is a wonderful addition to the geneva area with a cozy atmosphere, incredible staff, and in my opinion great food. I will be back to make my way through their menu as they definitely left me wanting more!
