I gave this place many chances but I will no longer go there due to the lack of service. It’s almost as if you don’t speak Portuguese you will NOT get service. I tried so many times but each time I go, the ladies behind the counter are really rude, they don’t acknowledge your presence upon entering. They know you are there but won’t make EYE CONTACT if you are working in food industry and retail you have to make connection to your customers and greet them in a friendly way. I waited nearly 5 minutes to be acknowlege and she knew I was there but decided to ignore and keep doing what she was doing at the counter. Also you are never greeted with kindness, if you are running a business in USA your staff should speak English and be friendly to your customers. They also have messed up my orders in the past when I ordered online, not only it’s overpriced but they messed up orders. I once ordered online and never received a notification that it was ready, it had been a while when I showed up in person to pick up after 45 minutes, they said they didn’t see my order and just started to make it when I let them know about my order. So in addition to 45 minutes, I had to wait another 30 minutes, it’s so unprofessional because you are trying to save time by ordering in advance but they don’t pay attention to detail.

I went there with my husband and we were surprised by their excellent customer service, with the endless amount of options, and with the great environment. The room itself is neat and clean, everything absolutely organized. Cacau was friendly, gave us a lot of attention, was helpful and she was always smiling. I’d give more stars if I could.

I went to Bread of Life for breakfast this morning and I was very impressed. The place is small and cozy, with a nice, homey atmosphere. The service was excellent, the waitress was very friendly and attentive.
We ordered pastel and pão na chapa, and both dishes were delicious. The pastel was perfectly fried, and the pão na chapa was perfectly cooked. The coffee was also very good.
Overall, I had a great experience at Bread of Life. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot.
Here are some specific details about my experience:
– The place was clean and well-maintained.
– The food was fresh and flavorful.
– The service was friendly and attentive.
– The prices were reasonable.

I’ve tried it three times. Overpriced and not very good.
Ordered a ham sandwich and it came as two untoasted slices with deli ham, mayo and a tomato. Unclear why I would pay $10 for that when could make it for a dollar at home.

$5.86 for a toast with bread and cheese that was just average? No thank you. The place is clean and about 6 workers there so I was attended to quickly. I just can not believe the prices at this place.

Unfortunately they speak zero English and we couldn’t get what we were asking for cause they didn’t understand English. We did manage to get coffee which was very good but won’t return because of the communication barrier.
