This is by far one of the absolutely best buffets I have ever been to. The quality of food is superb. Maybe they don’t have a huge amount of variety, but it’s just enough as you will be able to see from the pictures. Highly recommend. We drove two hours to meet family here and had a wonderful time and the service was excellent. You can also order off of the menu if you do not want the buffet they have burgers, steaks, specialty salads etc. I almost forgot the banana pudding is wonderful.

I see what all the hype about this place is. It was very inviting and the food was very good, and priced fairly. The had a good variety of items on their menu, as well as a buffet. The vibes from the start felt off. When I walked in, everyone was staring at me and they went silent. They sat me in the very back. The food was delicious. The buffet selections were less than I expected but still good food. I expected more. Probably won’t come back until I can change a few hue’s. The cashier was cool.

This place was great! The service was amazing, our waitress and all the staff were so nice. I had the the blackened Salmon and it did not disappoint. Others in our party loved the buffet, there were a variety of options. We finished by going through their cute gift shop, highly recommend the fudge! Overall this was a great experience, and very inexpensive for what you get. Will be coming back in the future!

There are many reasons I gave the Bread of Life only one star. My wife and I had eaten there a couple years back and really enjoys the meal. This past weekend was my birthday and we had tickets to a show in Lancaster, so rented a hotel in Danville and thought what an opportunity to drive down and eat at Bread of Life. What a disappointment this time. The website says $12.99 after 4:00 on Saturday, but found out there was a piece of notebook paper taped over that price saying $15.99. The buffet was the most pitiful looking thing I have seen in awhile. Catfish which I love, but no fries or hush puppies, dried up looking chicken and wings which I didn’t even try to stick a fork in. The mashed potatoes tray was empty and wasn’t refilled as long as I checked. I ate a few bites and then decided we would just leave without complaining. I did try some ice cream, but of course the chocolate was out and no spoons for the vanilla, so I had to eat my ice cream with my fork. I do believe they have been in business long enough they are taking their customers for granted. I would suggest anyone who wants a good buffet meal drive on down to David’s Steakhouse in Corbin, where you can get a huge variety of fresh meats, including steak on the buffet, along with huge supple of fresh veggies, all kinds of fresh salads, and an unbelievable variety of desserts all for about the same price we paid at Break of Life. Needless to say we will never return to Bread of Life..

I chose the buffet but they have a large menu selection. I had fresh catfish fillers, potatoes, peach cobbler with ice cream. My friend had sweet and sour chicken and stir fry. We both had broccoli and cheddar soup. Don’t pass the homemade yeast rolls.
Afterwards you can browse the shop.
Oh and I brought home a 15 lb. Box of delicious bacon.

You can order items menu items or have just the buffet. This place has pleasant atmosphere and plenty of seating. The buffet was our chioce. The food was very good,down home cooking. The wait staff is attentive. We left very satisfied with full bellies.
