I had a wonderful experience at Bread House this Wednesday evening. It is a small restaurant with only 6 family sized tables, but the host/server accommodated a table for just me. I asked for recommendations as this was my first time having Georgian cuisine. I eventually settled on the lamb Khinkali, which are 6 large dumplings, and the Chashushuli, a beef stew. Both were authentic and delicious (especially the stew)! I finished with a piece of caramel honey cake 🙂
While enjoying my meal, a friendly customer with his family approaches me with a glass of wine to offer, and says he is from Georgia and he would like to toast for “… you, for Georgia, and for the United States”. It was a joyous, warning experience!

Food was amazing we ordered a bunch or different items. Im not a huge fan of lamb, but my goodness the dumplings were perfect. Eggplant appetizer was delicious as well. Small quaint restaurant, with ite.s to purchase. I wish i had saved room For dessert, ill remember that for next time.

The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We are not Georgian but we loved their offerings. The cheesy bread appetizer was amazing with the egg in the middle. The chicken stew was exploding with flavor. The place is very small. There are about 6 tables. The service was pretty slow and not attentive. Otherwise it was great. You cannot see the restaurant from Rt 9. We will be back again.

Loved the food here. Was our first time to a Georgian restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the cuisine! We ordered the Lobhiani (it was huge – and filled with the goodness of veg. protein), eggplant boat (yummm), cornbread (not the usual American cornbread… a more natural and rustic version ), one of the soups (which was also tasty) and the chicken shish kebab (this was average). Our overall food experience was great. If you are not familiar with Georgian cuisine, come in with an open mind and heart… you will love how fresh the food is, how simple yet wholesome everything tastes, and the rustic ambience of this restaurant! We will definitely be back again!

This place is a must try . Everything i mean everything was amazing. This place is so cute and cozy, service was very friendly and attentive and the food omg I can’t stop raving about the food . Everything is freshly made nothing frozen . We had khachipuri, khinklali, two different fresh salads pork and chicken kebab and finished our dinner with authentic Turkish coffee with napoleon for desert that just melted in my mouth.

Exceptional Georgian Restaurant! We had dinner there a couple times, and each time food was an absolute delight. Make sure to otder the Khachapuri, our favourite one is Megruli, which is very cheesy. Pork Shish Kebab was also delicious, juicy and had a perfect crust. Chashushuli was very satisfying and full of flavor. And of course, the desserts! Their Napoleon or Honey Cake is very-very delicious. The service is good, and the ambiance is really welcoming. Visit this fantastic restaurant without a doubt!
