Beautiful little spot with the vibes of a French cafe. Great meals and savory pastries. Good variety of coffee choices. Excellent service.

This comfy restaurant boasts a spacious seating area and is the perfect spot for a satisfying breakfast or an indulgent all-inclusive brunch on weekends. Located near West End, Washington, DC, it offers an impressive range of desserts, including delectable crepes, waffles, and cakes, alongside a selection of coffee and wines.

During our visit, we enjoyed the Chocolate Bomb and Pistachio Cake paired with hot coffee. These desserts were exceptionally rich and enjoyable, showcasing the quality of craftsmanship that’s increasingly hard to come by. The restaurant’s All-Inclusive Weekend Brunch is a standout offering at just $33. It includes an enticing entrée, a basket of homemade pastries, a mimosa, and coffee—an unbeatable value for such a great experience.

Get the croissant and you won’t be disappointed. Hash browns were also out of this world. Coffee options are good. Prices are reasonable.

Came amidst the snow. Service was friendly. The portions are gigantic, enough to fill you all day long. Had the salmon omelette with extra veggies. Everything was delicious and filling And they have a good tea selection and warm milk. Best prices for DC.

Lovely atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have daily specials a large display of fresh baked goods. We ordered the Little River Benedict and Black Forest Ham & Gruyere Crepes. Everything came out hot and delicious. The poached eggs were perfect and if the hollandaise is not homemade, it was adjusted so it tasted like it was. The crepes were light and beautifully cooked. Our Americana Coffee was fresh ground. We will definitely eat here the next time we’re in the neighborhood.

I visited this location to enjoy breakfast with my family of 3 during a trip to DC for spring break.

We had the chocolate banana crepe, strawberry creme french toast and the big breakfast. The crepe and french toast was good and big breakfast was decent although I wouldn’t call it a big breakfast (it came with 2 pieces of bacon, some hash browns and scrambled eggs not at all big).

All was okay until the bill arrived as seen in photo 1. I receive a bill with 20 dollars pre-added as tip which is about 40% of the total.

I come from NYC and understand that there may be fees pre-added. However, it’s the first time I am seeing a restaurant pre-adding a 40% tip to a table of 3.

When I asked the waiter, he said it was a system error and that it should be in fact a 20% tip not $20. I still didn’t understand why a 20% tip should be added as default for a table of 3 but decided to let it go as it was my husband’s birthday and didn’t want to create a scene.

The waiter came back with the revised receipt (photo 2) with the 20% tip. I gave him the okay and he returned with the final receipt (photo 3) for me to sign.

To my surprise, there was another line for tip after the tip was pre-added. Do these people really think I would fall for this? While the food and service is decent, they are very dishonest people trying to take advantage of people who are visting the city to enjoy and have a good time.

If you need to visit this restaurant, double, triple check your receipts.

They have an unadvertised extra egg surcharge. .50¢ an egg in your meal. The food overall was delicious, and the service nice, but we just wished they had disclosed that extra cost before we ordered. It was very surprising to get on the bill.

Absolutely amazing experience. I came here for breakfast and ordered the chocolate and banana crepes, and they were so fresh, hot, and delicious. I also felt that all of the menu items were reasonably priced. I came back during lunch time and ordered some gyro wraps with a side of hash browns, and the food was once again very delicious. The cherry on top of this whole experience was the amazing customer service of the staff. One of the employees, Hamido, immediately recognized me as I returned for lunch and gave me a free pastry. He was very kind, caring, and generous.

The staff at this restaurant made me feel very at home as I was visiting DC, and I can’t say enough positive remarks about this restaurant. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!
