The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the coffee was genuinely great. The kids had the cheese flatbread, which they absolutely loved, and the plain croissant was fresh and delicious. We also really appreciated the mix of coffee and beer options — perfect for a relaxed stop no matter what you’re in the mood for.
A special shout-out to the server, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Even though the place was full and he was working alone, he managed everything with a smile and made everyone feel taken care of — truly impressive.
This spot is also very family-friendly: there are games, kids’ books, puzzles, crayons, and even a proper changing table (actual wooden furniture with a changing top, not just a wall fold-down), which made such a difference for us.
One small heads-up: the tomato bisque was quite acidic, so it may not be ideal if you’re sensitive to acidic foods.
Overall, a fantastic stop for families and non-families alike — great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be back on our next mountain trip. ☕️✨
Service: There were no other customers while we were there. Food ordered to go. Guy that took our order said no, weren’t raw onions on the “off leash,” sandwich & was only what menu said (I always ask, as well as with chili, due to allergy). Very pleased the cook was thoughtful to come out of back with correction & said yes, usually raw onions on sand & they needed to correct menu. (on Toast app, no description on it), & cooked onions in chili.
Service was very slow, unsure why- they didn’t say anything. ?
Food: Small portions! There were only 2 thin slices of turkey on the ciabatta that was on the dry side (cracking). Flavor was good & again with minimal everything, including toppings, wish I’d have been able to recognize & enjoy the tomato jam more since I was looking forward to it. Husband ordered same sandwich & felt even more disappointed on very small portion size. The 4th place chili – funny cool name, was a solid A!!!! Large meat chunks were tender, flavor was amazing & temperature was perfectly hot. Wish they had filled the cup of chili up as it was only 3/4 full & it was an additional side add on cost not included with the sandwich.
Price: Disappointing. Overpriced for really small portions. Overall, the skimpy portions, slow service esp for a small order & out of the way location outweighed the amazing chili. Verdict, don’t recommend this one.
My biggest gripe is the food. The quiche I ordered ($14, price not shown on the menu), was one of the saddest quiches I have ever had. It was tiny, thin, lacked flavor and was a bit rubbery around the edges having been microwaved right before serving. The Caesar salad it came with had mediocre flavor and was tiny as well. The avocado toast was equally disappointing from a value perspective. It was a tiny piece of bread with a scoop of mashed avocado and some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Charging more than $10 for this seemed like a rip off. I really like the atmosphere and drinks and may return for that, but for me the food is out.
