First time trying this place. I had heard great things about it and they did not disappoint! I had them make and decorate my parents 50th wedding anniversary cake. It was beautiful and tasted amazing! Everyone at the party asked where we got it from and I did not hesitate, The Bread Basket! Thank you for doing such an amazing job!

Visiting Cheyenne for the day and we were so delighted to stumble upon this bakery! Prices were unbeatable. The meal deal for a sandwich was great and you even get to pick your own cookie to go with. Wide variety of homemade bread and pastries. Friendly staff and 10/10 service! There are a couple tables inside if you decide to stay in. Their pastries and cakes were great prices as well and I wish we had more room to take them home. Worth the stop if you’re looking for a classic local bakery!

We love this spot! It has such a fun vibe, lots of different types of bread and pastries, tasty cabbage burgers, and good prices. The haystack was really good. I’m not normally a huge sweet fan, but that really hit the spot. The ladies we have met working there are all very nice, too! While eating there today, an older gentleman who was a customer there literally stopped at our table and told us to have a wonderful day. So sweet!

I have been staying in downtown Cheyenne for a few months now and have walked to this bakery several times, as well as, have made a number of purchases. The local bakery is wonderful! It so reminds me of when I was a boy my mom would take me to our local bakeries and you felt so welcomed there! I have tried several of the breads and pastries in the past few months. The taste of all have been great! I have not had the opportunity to try any of the sandwiches but I’m sure they are awesome given the number of customers I have see buying them! The ladies behind the counter are always so nice to talk to and are very welcoming! Give this bakery a try! You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend!

I recently visited here for the first time with my family and I found this bakery absolutely charming. The employees were very patient with us and were sweet with my daughter when she went to pick out her cookie. The wait was not long at all. We split a chicken salad sandwich on 9 grain bread with potato salad and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The food was so delicious. Tastes just like a lunch your grandma would have prepared for you with love. Very filling too. They have a large variety of baked goods, jams, sandwiches and hot lunches to choose from. Prices were very fair. This will be one of the places I will bring my daughter for our little special lunch dates or a baked treat in the mornings.

The ladies of this bakery are the absolute best at what they do. It’s rare that it is ever quiet in that shop, maybe when they start their mornings before they open. These hard working women make the best sandwiches and great baked goods. It’s is most certainly a family favorite and deserves all the raves! I appreciate all that these ladies do, every single one of them. And this is what a sandwich should look like

Great little place! Fresh breads, rolls, cookies. Cupcakes and cakes. They also carry honey and jams. I didn’t see anything gluten free the last time I went. I wish they’d consider offering a few items. A great place!

It’s a little small, but wow, the service was great. I had one of the daily soup specials, Turkey Wild Rice, and it was fantastic.

MY FIRST VIST TO THE BREAD BASKET—I WON’T GO BACK! THE CABBAGE BERGER WAS JUST CABBAGE BETWEEN TWO PIECES OF EXTREMELY THICK DOEY BREAD. YOU HAD TO SEARCH FOR THE FEW TINY PIECES OF GROUND BEEF. I ALSO BOUGHT A RASBERRY CRUM CAKE TO TAKE HOME. WHEN I STARTED TO EAT SOME OF IT—WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. THE CAKE WAS VERY LIGHT AND CRUMBLY AND THE CRUM TOPPING WAS PAPER THIN. THE RASBERRY WAS ALSO SO SPARCE COULD BARELY TASTE IT —-ALL VERY CHEAPLY MADE. A WASTE OF 14 BUCKS. I’LL STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!
